Imports CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.EngineImports CrystalDecisions.SharedImports System.Data
It tells me the namespace dosen't contain any public member. So I am unable to declare any crystal report object because the namespace is refusing to be imported.
I cant seem to see the crystal report in the add new item

I want to display the data from the table, column name "Remarks" in report footer but when I try to call the data it doesn't show the remarks. I'm using VB 6 and mdb files as my back end. First, ItemID
2nd, Total Quantity Sold for the Current Month
3rd, Total Quantity Sold: Last month

Hence, I can compare the figure of the current month with the past few month.Right now, I do not have any problems building SQL_String for calculating the Total Qty Sold for the Current month and display it via DataGridView. But I am not sure how to additional column that calculate the Total for the past few month
I am trying to convert a VB6 Data Report (.dsr file) to a Crystal Report through the migration process within Visual Studio. I have read articles that reference adding a Data Report to a Project from Visual Studio 2005/2008 and that it will convert the Data Report to a Crystal Report, but I have not been successful in doing so. Does the VB6 Data Environment need to be converted too? Has anyone been able to do this successfully and if so, how?

I am supposed to change the text property of the labels using textbox entry from form 2 and add/delete/change combobox contents in fom 1 using entries combobox at form 2.

View 1 RepliesI have a problem in crystl report viewer export button, when user click on the export button. it becomes hangs . this thing I observed the same report are working fine in XP OS and XP 2003 server, this problem produced only in Window 2008 Server and Vista workstation. one thing more, I have used Multi Threading in crystal report . for performace improvement I called a crystal report asyncrosni calll. It is wonder all reports is show well and only export button create problem I m usiing crystal report 11 release 2 with latest service packs and hot fixes.

He can view a crystal report fine on his machine, but he can't export the report to pdf, or excel etc. even tho he has the programs installed. He is just missing the export button on the report viewer. On all the other agents pcs, the button is there. And on mine as well.
Any ideas what dll's i need to register on his pc ?

I am a newbie to .net and am using vb.net 2005 and ms access. I've made a crystal report but the prob is the report displayed has only the headings and no data... and this happens when I add more than 1 table, single table report works properly.

i have a system that will search a data and print it, the problem is that everytime a search the data and shows its result when i try to view it using crystal report it shows a wrong data... the crystal report shows the very last entry that the user added and ignored the previous data.

I get an error everytime i try to load my report, it gives a report load failed error message. BTW I am meaning to change the msgbx to messagebox.show once i get this piece running. I don't know what could be the issue. Any assistance would be great. I think it may have something to do with my sql adapter.fill method.
In the about use should be a label and a button. The label should tell about the program and have the name of the programmer and the button should hide the about us form.Here's my code:

But when I display the report some of the subreports grow beyond the next report, why doesn't the next report move further down and start after the first subreport is finished?
