Progress Bar - Parse A Large Picture
Jul 27, 2009The intention of the application is to count the percentage of white in a grayscale picture and this is how i think i did this: [Code] Now as the title says i have an issue with the progress bar. As you can imagine, to parse a large picture with thousand, to say, millions of pixels it takes time (about 15-20 secs). The problem is that when click it crashes, so i thought to put a progressbar (even marquee it doesn't mind) to put the user on hold. but i can't think of a good way to do that and the net doesn't help, any good ideas?

I have learned particularly in the subject of automating web browsing control using the getattributes etc., but I have tried everything that I have seen in the forums to auto click the "Settings" link in a created gmail account and then have the browser automate the "Forwarding" to another gmail address. Oct 28, 2009i`m trying to use a progress bar while i click a button to start my web cam. It needs about 2-3 seconds to display the web cam capture image in my picture box. When i use the following code the progress bar starts only when the capture image is displayed in my picture box, it waits those seconds to start. What can i do about that problem?

Nov 19, 2008I have managed to build the basic Picture Viewer Program. Now Remember the program I am working on is for a Digital Picture Frame there is NO wirless network adapter on the old pc and there is no keyboard going to be attached to the laptop so the program must launch its self (ill put a short Cut in the windows startup folder). I got a picture box that excepts the picture file it covers the whole form! (when there is a picture in the picturebox1 it fits the screen) My form one covers the entire screen (I set the windows border from scalable to none). I need to make my program scan for picture files on different drives and then every 30 seconds or so choose a random picture from the usb drive and display it Posted below is my code:
