I'm new to visual basic & have learned many new things in such a short period of time from being on the MSDN forums. I have learned particularly in the subject of automating web browsing control using the getattributes etc., but I have tried everything that I have seen in the forums to auto click the "Settings" link in a created gmail account and then have the browser automate the "Forwarding" to another gmail address. I haven't found a solution anywhere to accomplish this.

I would like for my program to navigate via textbox1.text with multiple lines and multiple url links inside of it. I know how to make the webbrowser1.navigate via textbox1.text with multiple lines, however I want my webbrowser to navigate to each url every 1-1.5 seconds once button1 is clicked. Yes, my webbrowser1 will navigate to the specified urls via the textbox1.text (multilines) with a button click, but I need the webbrowser1 to navigate in a order sequence from top to bottom of Textbox1.text (multiplelines) every 1 second. Set URL And Click Link In IE Window, Not Browser Control
I was wondering if I had IE open, how can i set the URL within that browser? I do not want to use webbrowser control.

I am writing an windows application in VB.Net to automate the internet explorer using Visual Studio 2005.There is a website with list of orders. I need to accept the orders automatically whenever they arrive.There are 2 pages in a websiteand they will refresh at regular intervals. In the first page there is a list of elements in a grid with Accept and Decline buttons. I have to click on Accept button. Then next page loads with some text contents and a Check box and a Submit button. I need to check check box and click on the button automatically.

I'm trying to click a link in an embedded browser based on the link ID. However, I keep getting a NullReferenceException error. I have not declased anything from the code. Just dropped it in from another website. Any ideas?

My students did a tutorial in HTML Help Workshop to add Help files to a VB 2008 Windows application. They zipped the files and uploaded them to our class web site.
I downloaded them at home, unzipped, and tried to check, but every one shows Table of Contents or Index and cannot find the .htm documents for the topic. The same thing happened in my office. However, these projects work correctly in our classroom
lab and do display the .htm files.

The issuse that I running into is that I cannot get my webbrowser1 to auto-click the "Gmail" button at the top left of the page or the "Show me my account" button on the righthand side of the webpage. When you look at the source page there is a link at the src tag
<frame src="http://track-back.net/Top.blog?userType=1" name="main">
How would I activate this link from vb.net since when you click on it all the html content appears and when I use the webbrowser control to navigate to it, I get the same original html.

I have figured out quite a few tricks and stuff with the web browser control but I can't figure out how to automatically click a button. I know I can invoke the 1st instance of a "submit" type button but I want to click the 3rd instance (or chose which ever one I want). Unfortunately the button declarations in the HTML don't have ID or NAME tags to make it easy to pick them. How would I go about extracting all the buttons on a form in an array form, so I could invoke a certain member of that array and click a button of my choosing. Is this possible?

The web browser control that comes with visual basic 2008 is out-dated and is very slow to load a lot of newer web pages. How do I go about updating it?
Also, is it possible to use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox instead? Would I be able to use code like this in any of the newer browsers?:

I'm writing a tic tac toe program and i have the board set up, and the game works for the majority. determining who wins. what i am trying to do right now is after a winner is determined, a message box pops up and says who ever wins. I would like the message box to contain two buttons. One button with the text, "Ok for new game" and the second button with the text, "Cancel to exit". I am using Visual Basic 2010 Express.

Does anyone know of a way have the PropertyGrid control display a NumericUpDown instead of a DropDown box or text box? One of the properties that I need to capture is an integer and I'd like the user to be able to spin up or down to choose a value instead of typing it in.

Let's say my browser goes to a page similar to this one below ..

On this page there is a hyper link called 'Click Here' .. when I click it, it opens another window with things in it.
How can I click this hyper link in vb.net automatically without me clicking on it with the mouse, and how do I open the window in a second web browser ?
We can assume that the first browser is called (WebBroswer1 ) and the second one is called (WebBrower2).
I know how to perform buttons clicks and do raise the 'OnClick' Events, but I don't know how to do it with a hyper links.
