I'm trying to pull a price from an HTML tag using the .Document method of the web browser control. I've done this previously with the following HTML lin:

I am attempting to obtain the price from a DIV tag in this HTML:[code].......
I've tried a few different combinations to get the price. I imagine I have to use .InnerText, but I can't seem to figure out how to split up the tag in order to use .InnerText.
Anyway, i have a list of products in a product table. Primary key 'id', and 'Price' is a float(all variables defined at the top - cut main code out)

I'm new to visual basic & have learned many new things in such a short period of time from being on the MSDN forums. I have learned particularly in the subject of automating web browsing control using the getattributes etc., but I have tried everything that I have seen in the forums to auto click the "Settings" link in a created gmail account and then have the browser automate the "Forwarding" to another gmail address. I haven't found a solution anywhere to accomplish this.

View 1 RepliesIn my app I am using a web browser control, I am displaying a list of files that are there in selected Directory, when the file type is of some image I do it as WebBrowser1.Navigate(sFileName), the image is then displayed in the Web Browser Control, when there is Word Doc I had code that converts the word doc to HTML and it is displayed in the WB Control all good so far, now when the file is of type xls, xlsx I am not converting the file to HTML instead I just use the navigate command and open the file in Excel so that user can then edit it and save it on his system. Now the problem is lets say I am toggling through pages in Directory first file is Image so it will be displayed next when it is Excel file then it will open the file in MS Excel but the WebBrowser COntrol has that previously opened image, I want to clear that when the excel file is opened. So here is what I tried. [code]It navigates to Excel file but does not display text and the image from previous file persists in the web browser control.I even tried to navigate it to "about:blank" but it then does not navigate to Excel file.

View 1 RepliesI wrote a VB.Net application that displays HTML help files according to user's search results.A user types some keywords and receives a list of HTML help files containing these keywords.When a list item is selected the HTML file is displayed in WebBrowser control.The problem is that I cannot mark the keywords in the displayed HTML file. I need to highlight them like in a standard Help. I tried many options and nothing works.If I change HTML element style manually (background color for a specific string) all pictures attached to this page are not displayed. After "Refresh" operation the pictures are displayed but the text selection is not enabled.I hope there is a standard function for this operation but I cannot find it.
View 1 RepliesThe VB.Net desktop app uses the IE browser control to navigate the web. When a normal page loads the document_complete event fires and I can read the resulting page and go from there. The issue I am having is that the page I am driving is written with AJAX, so the document complete event never fires. Furthermore, when you view the source of the page after it loaded a new portion via AJAX, it hasn't change.

Basically, I have a quiz program for which It would be much simpler for me If i could pull the strings for the correct questions to display and answer to test if i could pull them from excel. For example,

I have used examples from threads here on how to open and convert word documents to html in order to parse them. I got it all working great using the office interop library but used an example word document with some text in it and it worked fine. Now with actual word documents that I need to parse that come in all types of formatting and irregular formats I got it to convert to html all fine. But the actual html when looking at it does not make sense and I am not sure how to parse this. for example:

I would like for my program to navigate via textbox1.text with multiple lines and multiple url links inside of it. I know how to make the webbrowser1.navigate via textbox1.text with multiple lines, however I want my webbrowser to navigate to each url every 1-1.5 seconds once button1 is clicked. Yes, my webbrowser1 will navigate to the specified urls via the textbox1.text (multilines) with a button click, but I need the webbrowser1 to navigate in a order sequence from top to bottom of Textbox1.text (multiplelines) every 1 second. The examples given in the MSDN library refer to versions older than Express 2008 with (apparently) different syntax options for FileFormat.Based on the snippet shown, I get a COM exception error (800A03EC). Other variations produce the same error.
