I am trying to read through some code and it would be helpful if the editor in VS 2008 would highlight the If statement by using the cursor and double clicking the End If statement (or something like that).
I believe I could do something like this in Java using Eclipse - it was very good at highlighting a code block by clicking next to one of the curly braces.
I'm developing a source-editor. I'm going into the 1.3.1 version and it's about time to get a syntax highlighter.

After installing SP1 of Visual Studio 2008, code completion shows all types when an object member shows the parameter list. Following the comment there I checked Tools/Options/Environment/Keyboard for the Edit.GotoBrace command which is mapped to Ctrl + å in Swedish.Vb.net doesn't use braces per se, but in the following example:

I would have thought that the same command should jump me from the For Each to the "Next" but it doesn't do anything. Is there another command (or should that command work but something is broken locally?)

I've tried editing code from the solution and the project. Both produce the error. Usually occurs when adding an "IF...Then..." condition. May work for hours but then crash. In a while loop, I am writing a progressively increasing integer value (between 0 and 100) to the Value attribute of a ProgressBar control, when it disappears from the window in which it resides. I have verified at the time that it disappears that the Min is 0, Max is 100, and Value is a valid integer in range.

I am very new to Visual Studio Application Development. I'm mostly a DB guy. I used Visual Studio as a Report Designer, not much of an .Net guy though I can understand it. I have been working on a game development program for a few days now. And have come to a halt on one part, and thats adding a 3D space in the program. * Once the user design's each screen to his taste by placing various controls on the form, he should be able to save the form as a screen. Of course I have to provide functionality for each of the controls such as if he drags a button on to the form, he should be able to specify what action it has to perfom when clicked when the application is put into run mode. Quite similar to regular windows form button.
* My application should have two modes: a DESIGN MODE, where user can drag, drop controls and specify what they should do when put into RUN MODE. This is quite similar to MS Visual Studio designer.
* Last but not least is to be able to access the application via the browser with the same look and feel his desktop version.

Is there any C#/VB.NET library that can produce HTML output from Python sourcecode ?
I mean display the Python sourcecode syntax-highlighted on a website ?
It should be C#/.NET code, not a JavaScript library. This is because I highlight many programming languages, and their HTML is already generated server-side, so I really can't use a JavaScript library.
