.net - C# Library To Syntax-highlight Python Code On A HTML Page?
Jan 11, 2012
Is there any C#/VB.NET library that can produce HTML output from Python sourcecode ?
I mean display the Python sourcecode syntax-highlighted on a website ?
It should be C#/.NET code, not a JavaScript library. This is because I highlight many programming languages, and their HTML is already generated server-side, so I really can't use a JavaScript library.
Is is possible to include a python library, which does API authentication, in a VB.NET app? If so how would I do this? The site that provided this does not provide much documentation on this; I am attempting to create an application that accesses the google API, and this library has been created to do the authentication for you.
I'm writing a program in VB.net that gets the source code of a web page with a video on it. it then uses regular expressions to isolate the download link of that video. then it uses "httpwebrequest" and "httpwebresponse" to download the video. my problem arises when certain sites have a page where you have to click continue in order to get to the video page. [URL].. called "The.Matrix.Reloaded.2003.mp4" so i tell my program to get the source code for the url [URL]..but it cant find the video's download link because it's searching for the file in the "continue" page's source code. you can see what i am saying by going to that website above and viewing the source code by right clicking on it. and then click continue and do the same when the video appears and you'll notice that the file is only there in the second one.
So my question is how can i get the source code for the page that the video is playing on and not the page where i have to click continue?
I have a HTML file (for example filename.html) with a HTML code (div, paragraph, ecc...) and HTML Table.I need extract only HTML TABLE from source and conver it into XML datafile.[code]...
I have a NameValueCollection in vb.net and I need to be able to iterate through it and create an html form that posts automatically to a 3rd party site.
I have this to go off of as an example, but I am not sure exactly how to do this from code behind and end up with an html page that actually posts.[code]...
Every single time that I want to copy and paste the code that's been color coded, I have to sign into MSDN, choose Insert Code Block, and then Paste my VB.NET Code, choose VB.NET, Click Preview, and Copy and Paste it to an HTML Page, I Want that thing that color codes my VB.NET Code, in order for me to share my work online... I don't want to have to keep comming on here and doing all that just to get the HTML Version of my VB.NET Color Coded CODE..Do you understand what I'm asking...? Where can I get software or HTML that will color code my VB.NET so that I can Copy and Paste it to SeaMonkey's Composer page.
I have an ASP.NET Form (aspx). It uses VB as the codebehind. I want ALL of the VB to run and then the page to render BEFORE redirecting to the specified form. The problem is, is that I have Response.Redirect calls in the middle of the VB code (aspx.vb) and it seems to redirect before rendering the page. Is there any way around this? I need to have the page render so that some JavaScript on the client side (aspx) can run (it is for Google Analytics).
i have the following code. my intention is to display the html code of the current page.the strange thing is it works perfect only if i add a msgbox statement in between.but of course i wanna get rid of the msgbox..
I have a normal winform and I would like to know is there any possibility to generate a html page and to add a css file to the html page from the local folder.
So this is the code I have to Lighlight real time 'two API's to update richtextbox and prevent flicking when typing Private Declare Function SendMessage Lib "user32" Alias "SendMessageA" [Code] .....
But I want it not to comment the Whole line Just till the next " Like this msgbox("fdgdfggfdf") See Like so one " Opens the comment Ish and the second One closes the color/ Comment
I started to learn VB.NET and I'm trying to do a syntax highlight. The problem occurs when I set the color of selected text. It changes the whole richtextbox's content.
Private Sub txtText_TextChanged_1(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles rtbText.TextChanged Dim keywords As ArrayList Dim index As Integer Dim keyboardCursorPosition As Integer [Code] .....
I'm developing a source-editor. I'm going into the 1.3.1 version and it's about time to get a syntax highlighter.
I want a free, easy to use, and simple syntax highlighter and it needs to be a component.Leave a comment if you need more information and I will update.
I am trying to read through some code and it would be helpful if the editor in VS 2008 would highlight the If statement by using the cursor and double clicking the End If statement (or something like that).
I believe I could do something like this in Java using Eclipse - it was very good at highlighting a code block by clicking next to one of the curly braces.
This is the whole Class..The function works like this, [code] Now, when I load a big text with higlighted words in there, and when I try to type, it goes like up and down fast for 5 minutes for stupid reason. I don't know why, whats wrong. [code]
This may sound really stupid but I have to ask cause I'm not finding this answer anywhere.I have an application where the user will need to sign up for a new user account on the website [URL]..However when I am using Firefox's plug-in Firebug to view html I am getting something totally different than when I just right click on the site and view the page source.
What I am trying to do is to get the captcha from the website and display it in a picturebox on the application so the user can view the captcha, solve the captcha and then the app post is back to the service for a response.
Here is the source that I am getting using Firefox's Firebug to inspect the element:
<td> <input type="hidden" value="Oo3Jo1I8bgzK68agMqo3s79ZZib2OkbK" name="iden"> <img class="capimage" src="/captcha/Oo3Jo1I8bgzK68agMqo3s79ZZib2OkbK.png" alt="i wonder if these things even work"> </td>
[Code]...
Why would the two be showing me two different versions of the HTML?
And how would you be able to grab that source to view in a picturebox using webclient?
I'm trying to use the Enterprise Library RangeValidator attribute to validate that a decimal value is greater than zero:
<RangeValidator(GetType(Decimal), "0.00", RangeBoundaryType.Exclusive, "1", RangeBoundaryType.Ignore, "MyMessage", "", Nothing, False, "", "")> _ Public Property Holding() As Decimal
[Code]....
As far as I can see I am using the overload correctly. It works fine if I remove the messageTemplate related parameters but I want to be able to specify a custom message.
I need to highlight changes(diff) between 2 database text fields in a asp.net application. I'm used to "beyond compare" text compare, so the Ideal solution will do something like it, but if it just highlight the differences, that would be OK. [URL] The content is HTML, so if it could compare the HTML rendered text, it would be even better. So, i need a link or a control (free if possible) to do that job.
Way to space out the source code of a web page, having each tag on one line, without having to search for each tag ending and then making a new line after.
I'm trying to make a vb.net application that has got 2 textboxes, 7 radio buttons and 2 buttons(one named compile and the other 'run'). How can I load the content of a C/C++(or any programming language) file into the 1st textbox and on clicking the compile button, i should be able to show the errors or the C/C++ program in the 2nd textbox. On clicking Run, I should be able to show the output in the 2nd textbox. In short, I want to use the 2nd textbox as a terminal/console. The radio buttons are 4 selecting the language C or C++ or python or C# or java or perl or vb.R d compilers of all these languages present in .net?
I have a webbrowser control & a treeview control...once I load a website I create a HTML DOM tree representation of the website using the code below...What I want to do now, is the following:mouse over any HTML element, which will then select the corresponding tree node on the HTML DOM Tree select any tree node and have the corresponding HTML element highlight, with a red border around it?
Private Sub UpdateDOM(ByVal HTMLDocument As mshtml.IHTMLDocument3) TreeView1.Nodes.Clear() TreeView1.BeginUpdate()
Okay normally this was easy to do, but now with IE9 Visual Studio 2010 hangs and crashes. The problem seems to be even worse because you can't build an Interop.mshtml.dll to match version 9. I've tried using the VS command prompt with no luck. Allegedly this is how it is done, but there are no known examples that actually work. If anyone has done this with success
I'm using win7 64bit + express 2010. in the program, I need refer to Microsoft HTML Object Library. So, I added it, then I found, it can not be "copy local". I remeber it could before when I use oit on vista + 2008.
Now, the question is: how can I include it in the setup? since some users may not have this dll on their pc.
I am trying save a value from an input tag in some HTML source code. The tag looks like so:
<input name="user_status" value="3" />
I have the page source in a variable (pageSourceCode), and need to work out some regex to get the value (3 in this example). I have this so far: [Code] Which works fine most of the time, however this code is used to process source code from multiple sites (that use the same platform), and sometimes there are other attributes included in the input tag, or they are in a different order, eg:
I recently found this code (provided for third party use on another VB site), however,ll of my attempts to insert it into a class library have failed.I open a new class library and past the code in, and immediately get several errors pertaining to how certain objects can't be found. I find it it is crucial to use this code, unless someone can suggest to me another example of existing code that will do the same thing: make a restricted textbox who imputs can be restricted, that can handle pasting, shortcuts, text property setting, and script-entered text.
Option Strict On Imports System.ComponentModel Public Class RestrictedTextBox
I had a weird series of errors involving e.Graphics.DrawString() when painting a panel.I am using a barcode font [Code 128] with a library that converts text to the proper format for Barcode readers.That's fine, however, when I draw it to the panel, that's where things stop being fine:But, here's where things get funky. When I put it into a TextBox instead of drawing it via Graphics.DrawString(), everything is peachy:In fact, the TextBox one looks much better than the Graphics.DrawString() one! Am I doing something wrong?[code]
I'm trying to make a syntax higlighter for my HTML/CSS/PHP editor and it's working great so far, except if you paste something and then try to edit it, it will randomly select text in front of the cursor.
VB.NET Imports System.Text.RegularExpressions Imports System.Runtime.InteropServices Public Class Form1
[code]....
When you try to edit the pasted text this will happen:It randomly selects text in front of the cursor. This is only when the pasted text contains a keywordmatch.
