I'm trying to match a certain DateTime value with the current system DateTime. I have a timer and a label on a form. Timer interval is set to 1000. When the form loads, the timer starts ticking. As soon as the current DateTime matches the value of the variable, it shows a message in the label. When I'm writing the following code, the values don't match even if the current system DateTime is equal to the variable. Label1 isn't showing 'Times Matched':[code]The default format of 'Now' is the same as I have stored in dtmVar variable. So there's no question of format mismatch. Does that mean 'Now' is not actually a DateTime property? Provided, my O.S. is Windows Vista Ultimate and all date/time settings are set to default.

I have a IF statement which is checking each row in the data table (for a match) and ELSE statement with commands which are executed if the If statement is not satisfied. Now I would like to write like so that it goes to the Else part BUT ONLY for values which are not satisfied in the IF statement. If I am more specific; I would like to calculate values if a match is found and just print them if it is not fond (usually there are both cases). Now the problem is the text that is marked red; if there is a match found I don't want it processed BUT if the match is found I do. How can I write that?

I have a month and a year dropdownlist which give me the following string 01/2012 The date format in my db is "2012-01-01 00:00:00" but when I select an individual date and put it in a message box it converts to "01/01/2012"

I have to match string like "DAY1","DAY2","DAY3"....."DAY31" with regex in vb.net. I tried something like this - ^?DAY(0[1-9]|[12][0-9]|3[01])$ but it did not work.

I use a timer to compare these every second and display the result, but as the current time approaches the time I set, the result changes from 1 to -1, but never 0, which means these two are never equal. I am getting this error when trying to connect to the database which comes with Sage Line 50. It doesn't matter what table i try to look at i get this error when i try to create a datagridview. The near 'COMPANY' bit is the name of the table not one of its fields. Is this going to be something wrong with the SAGE ODBC (wouldn't surprise me) or does something need changing?

I am using visual studio 2010/vb trying to display data that is based on a value read from a text file.Currently i can get it to read a text file with only 1 value and get this value into a label. Then by using a SqlDataSource and setting a parameter in the WHERE clause to use the value from the label, it will display the related data in a data GridView.
BUT i would like to be able to read multiple values seperated by a , or next row down in the text file and enter these values into a WHERE bookID in (value1,value2,...)

I need to pass two variables to the WHERE clause. If I manually input 'sheetdate' and 'sheetdate1' into the clause -

everything works fine. The problem is I have multiple sheets and I would rather not have to add the entire sub-routine to each and every sheet. My thought is, it would be easier to create a PUBLIC sub and pass the time values (sheetdate and sheetdate1) to the WHERE clause.
Is there a way to simply the Handles statement? What if i want this sub to handle 20 textboxes do I have to list each textbox there? I already have a loop in my script so i can cycle through my textboxes ("TextBox" & i.text). is there anyway to use a variable or a function after handles to get all the names of the text boxes?
