I am trying to pass an argument to a sub then have it add to my listview, my code is:

My argument is getting through ok, statusText but I get an error:
'Name listViewMainLog is not declared'
I have Listview which databound to Dataset with about 20 items per row. I have a function which executes on each ItemTemplate appearance and gets about 10 params from Eval("something"). So basically one function builds and image from 10 parameters.Instead of passing 10 Eval("something") to the function is it possible to pass it whole row and how to use this row inside of function because it is not simple DataRow or ListView row which i can access as array of items (datacolumns).Reason i do that because function looks ugly and each time i need to change it i need to deal with dozens of items.

Lets say the table has 3 columns (a,b,c) and 1 row of data.

I want the user to be able to re-arrange the columns (by dragging the column headers) before printing the contents of the table.

Give the column-name (c) and cell-contents (3) of the origional table .. not the (3rd) column (b) of the re-arranged table.

Do I really have to go through all this just to find out what item has been selected in a ListView?

i am developing a point of sales system. currently i have my product code scanned and displayed in a listview. lets say that i have 5 product codes displayed in my first listview. By clicking on a button, how can i use these codes to call upon the details (prices, product name, etc.) of the corresponding codes and display in another listview?

Table2 should be updates from table based on the results... If all results is PASS then the table2 should be updated as pass... if any result is FAIL then the entire case_no should be updates a s fail..
Just started VB programming this week and have found a wealth of information about what I'm trying to do. Problem is, some of it is more complete than others.Here's what I'm trying to do:In Form1 (my main form), I want to instantiate a class that contains a couple of properties (speed setpoint and position setpoint). When I click a button, I want to pass this data to Form2 and populate two textboxes on Form2 with the properties of this object. I want to manipulate the property values on Form2 and click an OK button which closes the dialog and returns the manipulated data, updating the property values of the object. Here's the algorithm I'm following:1) On Form1, instantiate the class2) On Form1's "Pass Data" button click event handler, instantiate a Form2 object and invoke the ShowDialog method, passing the object as a parameter.
3) On Form2, overload the ShowDialog method to accept the object as a parameter and modify the method so that it returns the manipulated class data.4) On Form2, in the ShowDialog method, populate the textboxes with the class data that was passed in.Here's where I get stuck. If I press the OK button on Form2 (DialogResult.OK), it returns me to Form1, but what hook do I have in Form1 to receive the manipulated class data that the ShowDialog method is returning?Here's an example of what I'm thinking about:

I have a listview control. it has an imagelist attached to it with two images in it. I have entered items into my listview, and they are using the first image in my imagelist.... GREAT! Now, there is a variable I have that will tell me which index in the listview is currently active, noting to do with what I select that could be at another index it's just what's being processed by the program at the time in some task.
Create a function that will change the images of all my listview items by looping through them. If the index variable is set to 2, I want the 3rd item in my list view set to use the 2nd image in my imagelist. The rest of the items in my listview need to be set to the first image in the imagelist.
I've been trying to pass two parameters to my report using code the two parameters are DateTime type, my problem is crystal report viewer is still asking for the first parameter only and it accepts the second one?! in my report i've used two parameters ?firstDate and ?secondDate as dateTime parameters and used them in selctionformula where the date is between the two paramters.[code]...
