I am using Visual Basic 2008.I Have a lilstview with items from an MS Access database loading in to it. I can update, insert and delete all from the database and the listview is updated accordingly. However, I cannnot for the life of me get it to remove a row from the database based on the selected index of the listview!!!I suppose I could use a DataGridView but then I would need to add a datasource wouldn't I?

The user can then change the data in the textboxes and either press save to make the changes or cancel to close the window. This works fine except for one thing! after I click OK to the msgbox prompt, the record highlights normally and I click on the next record, and I get an Argument out of range exception error message, where I expected to just get another message with the next record number.

I'm trying to figure this small issue out, I need to keep whatever selection the user selects highlighted/selected even if clicking in another row in the listview. The only way I could get this to work prior was with 'lvwStrd.Items.Item(0).Selected = True..However this breaks my program as the index isn't correct, due to the '0', is there a way I can keep whatever item they selected selected even while clicking other rows in the listview(they are empty, there are only one to two options at a time).

So, the transfering of the items that the user might want to download is sent to a new form. I have a picturebox that shows up a X symbol showing that it can't be loaded.
