Re-insert Item At Selected Index (listview)?
Dec 27, 2009If you wanted to remove a listview item, then reinsert it at the same index it already was. Is this possible?

Feb 12, 2011I'm having some difficulty with a sorted & grouped listbox in WPF vb.net 3.5 that has an items source bound to an ObservableCollection.
What I want to be able to do is to retrieve a piece of data from the ObservableCollection items source depending on what item in the listbox the user has selected.I've almost got it working but because the listbox is sorted it does not match the index of the items source.

As I previously mentioned, because the lstBox is sorted and also grouped the index's don't match up.Does anyone know how I can get the correct information I want from the List Source depending on the selected item in the list box?

May 19, 2009Ok, so I have a listview on one form, and when a button is pressed it opens up a new form with the contents of the selected listview item and it's subitems in a series of textboxes. The user can then change the data in the textboxes and either press save to make the changes or cancel to close the window. What command would I use to change the selected listview item and subitems to whatever is in the boxes?

This works fine except for one thing! after I click OK to the msgbox prompt, the record highlights normally and I click on the next record, and I get an Argument out of range exception error message, where I expected to just get another message with the next record number.

Listview Keep Item Selected
Feb 22, 2012I'm trying to figure this small issue out, I need to keep whatever selection the user selects highlighted/selected even if clicking in another row in the listview. The only way I could get this to work prior was with 'lvwStrd.Items.Item(0).Selected = True..However this breaks my program as the index isn't correct, due to the '0', is there a way I can keep whatever item they selected selected even while clicking other rows in the listview(they are empty, there are only one to two options at a time).

So, the transfering of the items that the user might want to download is sent to a new form. I have a picturebox that shows up a X symbol showing that it can't be loaded.
