What im trying to do is, Make ListBox5 select the index of ListBox4 Selected Item (The Matching Ones).. example:I have the files of the same in two listboxes,Then in ListBox4, it selects The first Item (Got that bit),Then it selects the item of the exact same string as listbox4 selected item to select in listbox5..

I have been playing with, and researching, this all day and can't figure it out. I have a Windows Explorer style form with a TreeView and a ListView. I've populated the TreeView with directories and when a node is selected, the ListView fills with the contents of the directory associated with that node. No problem there, but I want to be able to select a directory in the ListView and automatically select the associated node in the TreeView, just like it works in Windows Explorer. All the information I've found online tells me how to populate the ListView from the TreeView, but I haven't found any good examples of how to populate the TreeView from the ListView.

I'm having some difficulty with a sorted & grouped listbox in WPF vb.net 3.5 that has an items source bound to an ObservableCollection.
What I want to be able to do is to retrieve a piece of data from the ObservableCollection items source depending on what item in the listbox the user has selected.I've almost got it working but because the listbox is sorted it does not match the index of the items source.

As I previously mentioned, because the lstBox is sorted and also grouped the index's don't match up.Does anyone know how I can get the correct information I want from the List Source depending on the selected item in the list box?

I have a combo box setup with 4 items, with indexes ranging from 0 to 3.
Later in my code, I need to do a certain event depending on what is selected. To do this I thought about comparing what the index of the selected combo box item is, because integer comparison is faster than strings, right?

I'm having a small hiccup in the following code. Basically what I have going on is a play button that will play the selected item in the listbox and once the button is clicked then the next item in the list is highlighted and waiting. This works exactly like I want it but the only issue is when it gets to the last item in the list it want play it.

I have an application to display the records of the customers. I am using the wizard to do the edit and delete of the records. In one of my column consists of dropdownlist. When I wanted to edit the changes by selecting the dropdownlist, it didn't display anything after I selected the changes. I have to make changes because my friend did not finish up this part which selecting the selected item to make the editing of the records.

I'm trying to use:
SelectedIndex = 0 to select the 1st. item of a combo box. Instead of displaying a customer name the combo box shows "System.Data.DataRow"
It works if the user actually selects something in the combo box but I would like to do this in code.

I have a problem with a combobox. I have a form (with information about clients) with textboxes binded to a dataview. One of the columns in the dataview contains a number that tells me what kind of client it is. I don't my users want that my users have to fill in a number in a textbox, but I want them to choose a item from a combobox. De Datasource is the information in my combobox. With Databindings I'm trying to bind it to my dataset (or view, that doesn't work either) with clients. Every time I get a NullReferenceExeption. The moment I remove the line cbo.DataSource = dsRelatie.Tables("Relatiesoort"), I don't get an error, but it doesn't work either.
That dataset is filled (I've checked) and also the derived view. The column Relatiesoort exists. What do I have to do to make it possible for my users to choose an item from a combobox and save the selected value to the underlying dataset?

I have inherited from a Windows.Forms.Listbox so I could override the OnPaint and OnDrawItem methods in an effort to highlight specific items and alternate backcolors. I am also skipping some DrawItem events to prevent flickering.Everything is working fine, however when I select items in the listbox, it looks like the font is shrinking or becoming more compressed.Then when I mouse leave, the font goes back to its normal size and appearance but the same items are still selected (which is correct). During debugging the font never changes nor do any of its properties, but it does end up looking different when the item is selected and the mousedown event just happened.
