i am working on pdf to xhtml conversion pdf clown library(C#).I am extracting the pdf content,the images which i extracted is inverted image.I want the real images,The code is pasted below,

It is saved on my desktop for easy access.I can close the program. I can click the solution to open it right back up, no problems.I then zip my file (also to the desktop)
My problem: I moved the original file (Project A) to another folder and extracted the unzipped Project A onto the desktop. When I open the new Project A's solution file, nothing happens besides VB starting up. It doesn't show me anything.
i am using this code to uzip a file: [code] i am trying to figure out how to get the name of the file that was extracted so i can use it in my program. Can I do that using .FastZip?

I have been on MSDN about this and searched but it's not quite telling me what I'm after. I've extracted a list of file names from an Excel spreadsheet and want to check whether they all exist in a directory which a user can select in a text box. It feels like I'm nearly there with it but currently my listbox is displaying everything, I want it to just show the files that are missing. I'm a beginner so I'm not exactly sure if I'm even telling it to compare the two things properly, I've tried a couple of ways of checking if a file exists but neither seem to work.[code]

I am taking an Intro to VB class in college and for on of our assignments we need to make several shapes with *'s. The user is prompted by an input box where they decide how large to make the shapes. The only one that I am struggling with is the inverted triangle. Here is what it should look like if the user would select to have 5 rows.

I have two (actually many) .png images in my application. Both have transparent areas here and there.I want, in my application, to take both images, combine them, and display the result in a picture box. Later I want to save the result through a button.So far I managed to find the two images and combine them, but it seems the transparency thing won't work. I mean, if you put one image over another, only the top image is visible as the result because, apparently, the image's background is a plain white box. Which is not. Here is a bit of my code:

Ok, stay with me on this one.I have a bunch of css files with classes defined in them.They are like this:.toolbar{......}.addpage{......}
I have managed to extract the just the classnames with a bit of help from a fellow member.now i have another bunch of .vb, .aspx files which use these css classes in them. they in the form:<id=23441:cssClass="toolbar">Now I have to extract the classnames after the 'cssClass' key word and then compare all the classnames with the previously extracted ones and determine which Classes are not being used.
I have a template in an excel worksheet. I can successfully insert data into the worksheet and print it out with backend coding.
The problem I am facing is, the reverse empty space for the header and side is too much.
Is there any possible way to reduce the empty space?
I have made a database that stores images as each record. I want to add a feature where mum can select a few of the records that she likes the images of. Once that is done I want a new form to appear whereby she can drag those selected images about and arrange them in a simple collage. Then save that as a new image. The database is done and the images can be stored, however I am not sure what would be the best way to select the images she wants. What do people reckon? A form that displays thumbnails of all the images and she can click on the ones she wants? or a check box on each entry? Then does anyone know how I could allow her to arrange and save the images as one new image?

View 1 Repliesproblem we have a database where some signs are stored. a user comes and shows a sign throw webcam and if this sign exist in the database then corresponding sound will be produced.so here i m doing pixel by pixel matching so if the position of sign shown by the user is different from the saved image then it would give unmatched while same sign as in the database is shown..the image of a sign is shown in attached file.
