I'm working on a little project it is like the task manager but i want it to get a list of all current processes, the path and icon of each. i could manage to get the list but i need to know how to get the path of each and the icon. i'm using a list view to do this. any suggestions?

Im working on a Dll Injector. But that is not my problem. I am using a picturebox to display the icon of a running process. E.g. If google chrome is running. The picturebox should display the icon of google chrome.
I can extract the icon to my picturebox only if I know the full path of the process. That API was easily found and works very well.
But know I want my application to get the full path of a running process automatically as soon as I order it.Like in a textbox is write: chrome.exe, and press the button next to it. What do I need to write in the button to get the full path of that running process.(of course only if its running, I if its not running I dont want anything to happned)

I have an app that runs from a network share/UNC path.i.e.\\networkserver\inventory\_application\systeminventory.exe.inside the app I call a 3rd party tool and run it from a subdirectory of the app. \\networkserver\inventory\_application\3rdparty\tool\tool.exe hide the window, and pull the output to a Text field.When I run the application local it runs great, it even calls the 3rd party tool from the UNC path and functions.But when I run the application from the UNC path and try to use the 3rd party tool it fails.I'm figuring it's cause the CMD prompt tries to kick off from the UNC path, and UNC paths are not supported as current paths. i.e. you can't do a "CD \\networkserver\inventory\". So I ran into a problem when running a command whose Path contained a space.apparently anything after the space would be treated as a parameter to the command.In the code below, 'path' is the path to the command and par1 and par2 are arguments to that command. I was told that to return the search to an array, I add the return toarray() at the end.
Now obviously Im not getting errors, but I am also not polling the results that are in fileslist.toarray(). I've looked at arrays quite a bit, I see their functionality if they are defined like myarray(4) with 5 declared array values... its an array with 5 value places. And to read from any one of the 5, you'd say something like msgbox(myarray(3)) to call the 3rd place in the array.
Well, as you can tell from the code, I am putting a variable amount of information into the array, How can I call that information? If I scanned a folder with 300 files, how can I call the results of that array and put them in a text file, or console, or messagebox through them? And assume I am doing it through a button click event. So, button click to read all input in the array to console or something like that.

I am working Vb.NET 08 Windows Applications. I have OpenFileDialog in a form. I have to connect the Database Based on the selected Path in OPenFileDialog. At Present, I Connect the Database and run the application Successfully. But What i need is .... After close the Application I open the Application again, the Previous Selected Path should be display. How can I get the Path when load the form? I have a program written in VB.net 2003 that are folks run under alternate credentials. Inside the app there is an option to open a UNC path to a network share. We were running Windows XP SP3 and IE6. The code is simple just a call to the explorer.exe with /root,\UNCPath. After installing IE 8 onto the machine this no longer works. Best I can tell the code is still working but now being executed in non interactive mode so nothing opens up. You can however see a new spawned explorer.exe running under the system account for each attempt at opening a UNC Path. Any ideas what IE8 could have done to cause this behavior?

I have a Access program and I'm using VBA code in the background to run Winunzip using shell command. Well, the path of the .zip file has spaces in it and it's not recongizing the path as a valid path. Is there a another way to tackle this problem besides the shell?I can't us pkzip either. Has you can see I had to use progra~1 instead of Program Files.[code]

Problem drawing dotted path lines, with even dots along the path line.I want to draw a path line that can be any shape (square, round, outline etc), and along this path line I want even dots to appear.
I also want to be able to resize the shape (as in the example attached)This is very easy to do using "DrawPath" and defining points for the path and using a pen defined as dots.The problem I have is I want the dots to be evenly placed along the path, on any shape or size I draw.In the example I have created, I create a square with 4 points and draw a dotted path.There are 2 buttons that allows me to resize the square (larger or smaller) this helps show the problem more clearly.
The path starts at the top left corner and finishes back at the top left corner, the dots are evenly placed along the path, except the final dots at the end of the path. (Sometimes the dots are even and other times they are not even).The shapes I want to draw can be any size and any shape, but I have used a square in this example to show the problem I have. point me in the direction I need to go that allows me to draw the dots and give the impression that they are even all along the path, for all shapes and sizes.
In the pictures below if you change the size of the shape, one will have even looking dots, the other will not.
