I have a code in VB that looks like this:'Server.Transfer(txtUser.Text + "_page.aspx")which is taking a forms authenticated user to their page. For example if John logs in, it will take him to john_page.aspx.How will I be able to integrate this in a PHP login script?I'm trying something like:header("location: $member ._page.php");but I don't think I'm doing this correctly.

Can anyone post some example code for an App.config file that uses a binding redirect with the CodeBase tag and an href attribute that points to a file system location? I can't use a standard binding redirect because it is a 3rd party dll that includes the version number in the dll name.
View 5 RepliesI have an ASP.NET Form (aspx). It uses VB as the codebehind. I want ALL of the VB to run and then the page to render BEFORE redirecting to the specified form. The problem is, is that I have Response.Redirect calls in the middle of the VB code (aspx.vb) and it seems to redirect before rendering the page. Is there any way around this? I need to have the page render so that some JavaScript on the client side (aspx) can run (it is for Google Analytics).

When I first tried running the code I received an error message of "Invalid postback/callback argument". I set the ASPX page to have a enableEventValidation="false" property and tried running it again. It generates the page fine but when I click on a dynamically generated button it acts as if it is loading something and then just brings me back to select_hall.aspx (the page all this code is one), when (as you can see above) it should take me to select_room.aspx.

View 8 RepliesI'm having some issues with an Invalid Viewstate error and I can understand why it's happening but I don't know how to fix it so I'm hoping someone can help.
I have a page which is similar to this /story/?id=123 but I'm using a different page to Server.Transfer to this page.
So I've set up /info to Server.TransferRequest("/story/?id=123") and it works fine until the page does a postback to itself.
We have a login form on this page which simply reloads the page but when it does it seems to add /?id=123 onto the end of the URL so it ends up like this /info/?id=123 thus causing an Invalid Viewstate error.
I've already tried adding EnableViewStateMac="false" - this fixes the error but it doesn't log the user in as expected so it does not give the required result.
Is there a better way to redirect to my page other than Server.TransferRequest but still keeping the nice URL? - I don't want to response.redirect if I can avoid it.
