ASP.NET VB DataPager Buttons Not Required When Only One Record Of Data?

I am using a datapager inside a nested Listview succesfully. When only one record of data is available the next previous last and first buttons are faded as per normal. However I would like them to not appear at all.
The aspx code I have is:

However the pager is always nothing in the debugger i.e it can't find the control.This may be because I have not selected the event handler correctly (I've tried several) or the method may be wrong.

i am trying to create a program which is a polling booth.Create a VB.Net program to implement the polling booth system.The program should contain 1 button and 1 textbox for each candidate.Two radio buttons are required to record gender.A vote cast button should also be available to initiate the recording of preferences updating the array values.If the vote cast is successful, a message should be displayed and the text boxes cleared, otherwise a message to the constituent will explain they need to adjust their preferences e.g. if two or more candidates receive the same preference. [code] All preferences entered into the textboxes should be converted into a numerical value and used to update a vote cast array i.e. an array that can hold decimal values (single data type) with 7 elements. The first 5 elements in the array will correspond to each candidate while the last 2 elements will record female and male totals.Each preference textbox must only allow a single character length; validation of the entry must ensure the value is either numeric (between 1 and 5) or left blank.The program cannot be closed down unless a code is entered into the voting boxes.

I want to exit a recursive function once the a number is repeated in a list. i.e. In the following code I have 'AST' as a list. How can I stop adding data to the list once the first number repeated?
The result in the below code is:

I'm receiving the following error:"You cannot add or change a record because a related record is required in table 'FORN_NIB'."
I cannot understand this error fr the related record really existe on the FORN_NIB table. It is even picked up from there. Here's the code where the error occurs at the .Update instruction:

I am trying to build a battleship game. The project is giving me one minor difficulty (so far). I do not know how to create the game board made up of 100 buttons. I can obviously drag and drop 100 buttons onto the form but this lacks a certain style, it would also be a pain. How do I create a form covered with required array of buttons automatically?

I have a problem with DataPager with ListView, I am using ASP.NET with VB.NET. I have searched for the answer, but I just can't seem to get it to work. Whenever I binded the data, the front page was okay, tried second page, still the same data, etc. Then I tried rebinding the data each time pager was changed, the listview dissapeared.

The code I have above works fine. However,when TotalRows of ListView lvComputer is more than 200, there are a lot of paging number on the page.I want to show paging number like something in the following format:
First Previous 1 2 3 ..... 9 10 11 Next Last
First Previous 5 6 7 8 ..... 13 14 15 16 Next Last
What do I need to do programmatically to modify the datapager to get the desired result like above example?

I have a standard ASP.Net DataPager with a standard ListView (using a DataTable as a data source). When I set PageSize="24" in the design code:

The paging works as advertised.
However, when I then change that in code, in the Page_Load, eg:
Protected Sub Page_Load(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Me.Load
DataPager1.PageSize = 48
End Sub
The paging ceases to work completely, while the initial loaded data set is indeed 48 items.

I have a piece of software with two tabs, inside each tab there are buttons (the user can add the buttons when they want). when tab1 is full tab2 should start to fill. I currently know how many buttons fit on the screen so I just say something like if buttons > 150 then start to populate tab 2 The problem i have now though is if the resolution is changed then a different amount of buttons can be displayed. so if I put my screen to 1280x720 some buttons are left of. I was thinking of detecting the resolution and then using different cases for different resolutions but this seems very inefficient im wondering if there is a different way?

My app is a fairly simple and im sure with the right knowledge this would take 2 minutes.. but sadly iv been at it for hours. So my scenario here is a huge network with 20+ file servers all with data spread out across them it can take hours to find the folder required.
Hence this app.. so it consist of a input box, progress bar and a button, using FileSystemObject I plan to interrogate a directory to see if a folder exists (folder specified by user input) however it need to check multiple directories, in my old app I used a list box which wrote to a text file allowing the user to add additional directories then using if statements proceeded through the servers.. however they have added that much that my IF's have ran out really because i know it should have been a loop

I have two buttons: show button and next button. I want the show button to show the first result and then for every click of the next button, I want to go the the next result. I did this code for the show button:

to loop through the fetched data. But I cant place it properly in the next button code. How to do the code for show and next button to get the desired result?
