I have a DataList inside another DataList. I want to access the child DataList "dlQuestion" events, ItemDataBound event. Also, I'm tring to find the control LableControl "lblQuestion" in the child datalist. How do I do that? Here's the mark-up:

I have a Datalist Control and Reading the pictures from folder and showing them in lightbox from Datalist I am also reading data and time from those pictures. Ist thing is that the datalist is not reading the Date picture taken from the attributes and second is that pictures are not being sorted in desc order of date picture taken.

I have a paging control for my datalist. It works fine until I try to increment to page 3. For instance, I have 9 things in my datatable the datalist paging is set to page size of 3. We when I click the button it will increment 1 (to page 2) but it will not go to page 3.

I am making an invoicing application. I have a label (lblCost) inside of a UserControl (InvoiceEntry) inside of a FlowLayoutPanel (pnlEntries). InvoiceEntry represents a line item on the invoice, and pnlEntries is the "body" of the invoice. pnlEntries can hold several InvoiceEntry controls.
I am attempting to sum all of the lblCost values from each InvoiceEntry control to make a subtotal, and I want that subtotal to change automatically if costs are changed (e.g., a change in quantities being ordered). Is there a way to handle when the lblCost.Text property of any of the InvoiceEntry controls contained within pnlEntries changes?

I have a checkbox and a panel inside of a FormView control, and I need to access them from the code behind in order to use the checkbox to determine whether or not the panel is visible. This is the code that I originally used, but since I put the controls inside of the FormView, it no longer works.

There aren't any errors anymore, but nothing happens when I click the checkbox. I think there needs to be some kind of event to trigger it but I don't know how you can put an event handler inside of an event handler.
Let's say we have a composite web control with a combobox and a textbox. Is it possible to build into the control functionality such that when the text in the textbox changes, it posts back and adds the value as an option in the combobox?
I know that I could add an "onchange" handler to the textbox and make something work with Javascript, but that's not really what I'm looking to do. Is there a way to just put like:

View 4 RepliesIf I have a panel with a handful of controls in it, and I want to create a click event for anytime that the user clicks on any controls that are NOT inside that particular panel, how would I do it? In other words, if there was an event called "ClickSomethingElse", that would be perfect. Any way to accomplish something like this? I realize that I could create individual click events for each of the controls outside of the panel, but there are a LOT of controls outside of the panel, so I was just wondering if there is a more efficient way to do this.

This is my first time using WPF. It has been a bit of a nightmare, but I've done enough of the project that I now don't want to start all over again with a forms application.
My problem is this: I have 50 textboxes inside an expander, which in turn is inside a stackpanel. I need to store the value of each textbox in an array. In forms I would probably do it something like this (I am using vb.net by the way):

(Assuming my textboxes were named Textbox1, Textbox2, Textbox3 etc.)
How can I do this in WPF? I've tried using Trees (I think they're called?) but have failed every time and now given up.
Oh, I also forgot to mention that there are also other controls in the expander (labels that are paired with the textboxes).

I have been searching around the web for a solution to this issue but have come across nothing so far.Basically I have a table as shown below, which I made up of ItemTemplate fields and is populated by a DataSet from my database. It shows brands to the user of which they can then click and go onto another page.I need to add another option to the table called "All Brands". Thus then I can use this to go to a page showing all the brands.However I can not seem to easily add this into the DataList.
