My problem is that if I use an activated event, I notice that if I have a message box pop up by clicking a button, it will add the item in the variable again. But if I use a load event, it doesn't function at all. I think I still need to be using a activated or load event so the mainform will update when I add items from the other listbox, but I'm still doing it wrong?

Regarding my college project. i'm working on a sales system . i have a form which consist of all the following information( item code , item name , item price , quantity of item ) which is display using a data grid . data input by user using text box and all this information will be stored in a database(sales database) i'm using ms access 2007. the grand total will be displayed in a text box . and amount paid will be input in a text box too , my major problem now is how to i create a reciept that will have all this information of the purcase. i have a reciept button . what the next step ? i dont have any idea how to get the reciept done.

How someone would select an item from a list box and click a button and have that item go into another listbox with it's price? I seem to be stuck on this part.

The insertion part of the form works great. But my problem is in the form load part......If i leave a field blank(Null),then perform Save operation,close the form after successful insertion and then reopen the form,then it retains the previous values during the form load......This is only in case where i leave a field blank in the previous data entry in the database.......But if i enter values in all fields then form load is working great.

Sample: I remove item in listbox A and it was added to listbox B. But here is now the problem, when I tried to check each item in listbox A, I noticed that all items that was removed was still there. I am trying to add a new user control to an existing project that contains about a dozen existing user controls. The project builds with no problems and my new control appears in the toolbox, but when I try to drag the new control on to a form I get a message box saying "Failed to load toolbox item 'XXXXXXX'. It will be removed from the toolbox" The project was originally created with VS2005 and has been upgraded to VS2008. What do I need to do to fix this?
