Copy Item From Listbox In Second Form To Other In Main?

I have two forms, both with listboxes, and a module with a global variable called strItem.Lstbox1 on my main form is blank, and lstbox2 on the second form has 3 items in it that has a price on it.[code]...
My problem is that if I use an activated event, I notice that if I have a message box pop up by clicking a button, it will add the item in the variable again. But if I use a load event, it doesn't function at all. I think I still need to be using a activated or load event so the mainform will update when I add items from the other listbox, but I'm still doing it wrong?

I have a multiple form application with a listbox on each form. I want to be able to select an item in one listbox on one form and then click a button and it show up in a listbox on another form.

I am using multiple forms to create the interface for an application. The main form of the application is the only 'form' used. I am kind of stuck on how to copy the controls to a panel created on the main/different form.UC1 is a public usercontrol, so I don't have to reference every control individually later. mp3ctrl is a public control variable.[code]I have Listbox1 on mp3form. I created a new instance of a transparentlistbox control I have in Form1_Load. When trying to set size/location to Listbox1.size/.location, I get the error of Listbox1 not being declared/inaccessible.I thought by creating new controls on the main form and setting the properties, I could reference the control through the .name, especially since the control has been added to the main form.

I want to know how I can check with the listview item on my main form to see that if the text property of the selected listview items has got the same text property of the listview on the another form?
I used this:

The item I have been added after I have got the same item as my form1.listview.items and form2.listview1.items. How can I find with both of the listview items that if both have got the same text property similar as I have created? I am not sure if the form1.listview1.items(i) variable is incorrect.

I am having problems trying to copy data from one list box to another using mutliple forms an a module for the global variables and arrays. At this point it is telling me that when I select and item form a secondary listbox and try sending it to my main list box it says that I am outside the bounds of the array.[code]...

Regarding my college project. i'm working on a sales system . i have a form which consist of all the following information( item code , item name , item price , quantity of item ) which is display using a data grid . data input by user using text box and all this information will be stored in a database(sales database) i'm using ms access 2007. the grand total will be displayed in a text box . and amount paid will be input in a text box too , my major problem now is how to i create a reciept that will have all this information of the purcase. i have a reciept button . what the next step ? i dont have any idea how to get the reciept done.

How someone would select an item from a list box and click a button and have that item go into another listbox with it's price? I seem to be stuck on this part.

I have a listbox which on form load generates correctly from a text file like so in a listbox...ex"John Doe, 1""Bob Brown,2"I now would like to search the listbox if it contains either a "1" or a "2" which is does in this case and copy the item to another listbox. The 1 and 2 indicate positions I have a position listbox for each position. I have 2 listboxes on my form.Listbox 1 - populated with "available" field namesListbox 2 - populated with "selected" field names.There cannot be the same field name in both listboxes - it's either one of the other.The logic I was going to apply was to populate Listbox 1 with every field name ... and then as I populated Listbox with the field names which the user has already selected, remove the corresponding item from Listbox 1.

Just want to ask this. I have a jQuery that move listbox item to another listbox. An its working fine the item was remove. Sample: I remove item in listbox A and it was added to listbox B. But here is now the problem, when I tried to check each item in listbox A, I noticed that all items that was removed was still there. I have a tool window that I want to stay above the main application form, but not stay on top of all windows forms. Similar to the floating properties window for visual studio - it always stays on top of the main VS window, but if I select another program, like internet explorer, the floating properties window will be behind internet explorer.
What I have is an application that has several forms that may be displayed at the same time. I have a Messages form that displays messages generated by the code in the form, that gives the status of the application. Obviously, the user would not normally be working on this form, but they may want it to be visible to see the status messages from the program (File saved confirmations, etc). So, my two options right now are I can set the form to be on top of all other windows forms or, when the user clicks on the main application form, the messages form would be hidden by the main form.

I have a main form with datagridview containing a list of contacts:

After saving, I get the correct message ("Saved"), and the DataGridView in the first form gets updated in real time.
But... when I take look at the data (or close and reopen the forms) the data in the database (SQL server) have not changed! What happens!

I've tried putting MyBase.ShowDialog() and .Show() and .9000+ other things The only benefit I've got out of using a seperate thread to load from the databse is i can see the screen right away (as oppose to it being a transparent box until it loads) but i cannot move it around or minimize it?is there any way to make it Movable while it loads?

[Code] I want like to check if a file exist on main form, if not: force open settings form. And then when the user is closing the form with exit button = check if the file exist again. If it doesn't exist, close application. It's a huge application and I need optimized on most parts. Also, the settings form is asking the closing question two times.
