I have mdi form in my project, which is the main interface of project. when i add some label so it always upon all forms. means to say that when i open a form from menu so the label is on that form, i.e. the form is below the label. i want to add the label but dont want this problem?

I can't understand what I am doing wrong ... I have a form on which there is a label . This label is actually part of a control array of labels (it was created by the migration wizard trough the upgrading process) . Each time I run the program and call my form , a message appears saying :Control array element 12 doesn't existAnd this is what I don't understand .I can see it during design time , how come it disappears during run time ? I have a label. Whenever i change the text, the text allows extends to the right. How do i get it so that the text extends to the left.Right now, the text covers up the control to the right of the label depending upon the lable text. i want to prevent this from happening.

View 2 RepliesI am developing a testing application consisting of 50 multiple choice questions each with 3 radio buttons to select the answer choices for my workplace and I just had a couple of questions concerning storing user input for review and displaying the next and previous questions. First - Would it be more practical to display each new question and the answer choices on a completely new form or in labels and just have the click event procedure of the Next button change the text properties of the labels and display the new text? Second - I want the application to store the user's answer choices so that at the end of the exam they can see how many they missed, which ones they got wrong, and then print the graded result. I have no idea how to store the input for later review and printing. Lastly - I would like the user to be able to mark questions for later review as they are taking the exam. For example, if the user selects an answer that they are not 100% sure of, the can mark a checkbox so that at the end of the exam they can review the answers they were unsure of. I guess I am just looking for some direction in developing this type of application. As of yet I have only done simple projects for school and this to me seems a bit out of my league. I have already designed the user interface and created a TOE chart but I would like some input on how to actually code the application.

I have a fair sized library that I would like to convert but I am having a severe problem with a very simple little game program that I selected for a trial conversion. The problem is this. I do a lot of graphic / art work in my GUI and heavily use labels with transparent backgrounds. When I converted to VB Exp 2005 the labels are no longer transparent but rather carry the background color attribute of the Form. Is this how MS implemented transparency in VB 2005? If so the product is of no use to me whatsoever. I checked the Labels attributes and they are set to transparent. But they are not being displayed as such.

View 17 RepliesI am new to VB. I have created some labels/textboxes in my Form1. I use them to do some calculations. Basically, this is my calculation area (in Form1) and then I want some of the results that have been calculated and showed in these texboxes to be shown in labels which are in another form (Form2). So here is what I have done in terms of coding:

These codes are in Form2 and Labels 12-16 are in my form2 as well. My form1 is called Transactions as you can see. Everything looks OK, when i run no errors, also when do the calculations and I go from form1(Transactions) to form2, labels 12-16 show the results from form1 but the problem when I go back to form1 and change the values and go back to form2, the labels 12-16 are not changed. They simply show the old values regarding of the fact that they have been changed in form1. So how can I make form2 to show them correctly, to refresh the form or what?
I have a .NET 2.0 standard Label on my form, well I put some text in it with several lines. But the spacing between the lines are too small.
