Adding Data To List In Excel Without Inserting Row?

I want to add data to a column in excel but I need to do it without inserting a row. I want to type the data in the top cell, execute an event, have all of the data shift down, and then clear the cell that I typed the data in. I can't insert a row because I have calculations that are based on each individual cell in the list in adjoining columns. I can get this to work by inserting a row but can't get the loop quite right without doing it this way.

I'm trying to find an easy way to export data from my database using VB. I already managed to write some textbox values into excel, but since this takes a lot of time and is not practical in my program, I need to learn how to export masses at a time...
So, I need to write 6 different values from the database table (shown in the picture in red) that are decided by 3 other values (shown in the picture in blue).
I have a Form1 where I can choose the "ProjHenkID", "Ty�Nro" and "Pvm:" (shown in blue)...
Started the code like:

MyExcel.Workbooks.Open("C:Tuntilappu.xls")
MyExcel.Visible = True
but don't know how to call values from the database and insert them into specific cells in Excel...

I am testing out this code which creates a excel file, and then call a sub to insert data into the file. The excel is created, but the function is not inserting the data. I am getting a error "External table is not in the expected format". I do not know what could be the problem.

where X, Y, Z, F1, F2, F3 can be as small as 1 digit or as large as 3. There is a space between each value.I need a loop where I can write these digits to an excel document where:The first X goes into A2, the first Y goes into B2, the first Z goes into C2...The second X goes into A3, the second Y goes into B3, the second Z goes into C3...And this continues for as long as the program is run.

I am trying to open an excel file and write to it as data becomes availableI can create an instance of excel and write to the selected worksheet once. But, I can't seem to write back to the existing file. I keep on getting a null reference error when I try to send new data to the file.The function I am using will run once, but when it returns to the main form, I lose the values of xlApp and xlWorksheet. It appears that going in to the function makes the original values null.

The problem emerged when I tried to retrieve data from the database with the help of SqlDataReader and save data from every row to a list (Customer) with the help of Add-method. I have a folder of around 200 notepad files with ticket information inside.Essentially, I need to compile a single PDF or Excel spreadsheet from all the information inside the individual notepad files.I don't want to have to open each notepad file, then copy and paste its data manually. I'd prefer to use some sort of loop function that opens each notepad file, extracts the data, and puts it onto an excel or PDF sheet.

I'm currently trying to import data from an Excel document to a list in Visual Basic 2010 Express. The Idea is to have the data easily modifiable by the users. I have looked quite a bit online and all of the examples seem to reference either an "Imports Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel" or "Imports Excel". I am trying to create a simple Word doc that when the user presses the button it takes the information in the boxes and tosses it into a template style paragraph. But my issue is that I have two combo list boxes as seen in the picture. I want to have two values in the drop down list as seen in the labels next to them but for the life of me I can't figure out how to do this in Word 2007. In Visual Studio this is much easier but I am work and need to snap this out for the folks at work. Is there an option that I can choose in the properties where I type in the values for each drop down or do I have to add them in at run time?

I am trying to create a small program to use at my company. It will be used to enter in any customer information on one tab and then the next tab will be used to enter in all the products that we are returning. I would like to use an excel sheet (if there's a better way let me know) to be able to enter in multiple parts but I can't figure out how to get an excel sheet or some kind of editable table onto my form

I am building an ordering system for my job. The idea is that the customer will put in a stage name for an item. That stage name is then interpreted by the program.The product id and the amount the customer wants to order is placed in a list box on the form. There are a couple of buttons, ADD, REMOVE, CLEAR, and EXPORT. The user input is handled by input boxes. When the user pushes the EXPORT button, excel should open and list out the interpreted product codes with the corresponding amount to order. I can get excel to open, but I can not get excel to display more than one line. It will display the first product, but then it comes up with an unhandled exception.I can not figure out how to get excel to return down a row and display the next product within the list box.

I am INSERTING into 2 different tables with 2 different buttons (One after the other by clicking each button). I have a form with 1 button directly on it to INSERT into tblCustomers from a field that is directly on the form as well. I then have a TabControl with another button with other fields (5 to be exact).
After I add data to the data base by filling out the field on the form and then by first clicking the add button located directly on the form and then add data to the fields directly on the TabControl the data will not INSERT itself into the tables in the data base for the 2nd table. Only the first table get data in it and not the one related to the TabControl.
BUT if i add data in the TabControl and then click the button on the TabControl it adds data into to the 2nd table. Is there a way to refresh my program so that it will accept both the "forms data" and the "TabControl data"?

I am pulling data from one SQL Server database, formating the data and then inserting it into another SQL Server Database. I am looking for a faster way to do this than the one I am currently using. The data pull is about 37,000 rows, so formating it and inserting it one row at a time is very time consuming. I was hoping I could format it into a datatable and insert the datatable into second database essentially inserting all rows at the same time as if they wre within the same databse, but I have not found a way to do this.
