I have a drop down list with font names and I would like to display them with their styles and not names and giving that style to a custom message as shown below This is actually what I need it.How do I acheive this?
Here is how I am loading fonts from my system

The method I'm using above is not working. When I select a new item from the drop down list, it works as expected except the message "Loading..." is not showing at all.
i have 2 Combo boxes[_cmbxFontName, _cmbxStyleName] i can load all installed fonts into _cmbxFontName. but i could not load Fonts Style. if i select a Font Name in _cmbxFontName then the other _cmbxstyleName combobox wants to load it's Styles [Regular,Normal,Bold,Italic......]. i know all fonts has different styles but how can i found and load its....

But with this method I can only apply 1 font-style (for example bold OR italic OR underlined, etc.) right? But I want to apply for example 2 front-styles, or just add the font style ( so I can add several front-styles to the selected text, for example the text is bold, and then ALSO make it underlined (with this method I can only change the font-style, only one font-style)), how do I do this?

I recently downloaded VB 2010 Express so i am quite new to the language, but i have worked with dark basic, which seems to b very similar.Anyway, my problem is that i cannot seem to correctly set out my array of a custom type/class. i am trying to create two arrays, one of available entities and another of selected entities of which the user selects the entities to be dealt with in irrelevant ways. i have creates a button (called test) which adds some entities to the available list and all the entities come back the same value but they shouldnt be as you'll c in the code. i have run the step into command a found that "available.item(#).Name = " will change all of the entity's names.As of current i am working with lists as the array kept asking for a 'new' statement but i couldnt figure out where to put it.[code]
View 7 RepliesI am pasting into a RTB from the clipboard and from different sources.At the end, I want to reformat the content of the RTB in a way that all font styles (such as bold, italic etc) remain unchanged, but only the line spacing gets uniform.
I do not find a way to change line spacing without changing the font (and at the same time removing all the bold and italic attributes)

View 2 RepliesI'm having a bit of trouble with my project here... and Google isn't helping very much. To put it briefly, I'm currently making a sticky note program (one fairly similar to Sticky Notes, for those of you familiar with Windows Vista or 7). It's relatively simple, as the "note" itself is basically a glorified Rich Text Box.
My problem is this: I obviously want to allow some for some customization with the font, however I don't want to use a standard full-on Dialog Box. So I designed a small form with 2 Combo Boxes--one for font and the other for size--and 2 buttons, "OK" and "Cancel". What I'm attempting to do is program this form (named dlgFont) to more or less be recognized as a Font Dialog Box. I've got some of it figured out I think, but I can't seem to put the pieces together in a way that actually works.In the code for my main form, I have this within the Class... stuff:

As for the Command Button that pulls up the dialog box itself, well, it's actually a Context Menu Strip Item... I'm not really sure what to put. So far I've only tried this:
