I want to create a button that calls a preset cmd line like
"CALL binphpphp.exe -S 0.0.0.0:8080 -t bin"
+ what the user inputs as a folder name in the textbox. Or even a batch file + user input folder name in a textbox.

I wanted to use the user input but most people tell me to use console...but I cannot use this function since my version is different, it will not show any results. I found that using mask textbox can use to read the user input but I don't know how the code can be written. I want user to input two number such as 1.345 and 2.355 and use this number for addition and give the answer. I not sure how I write the code for mask textbox to be read once user input the numbers.

I got the part where the program can graph data from text file and put it into an array called "varia3". The part I could not get is allowing user to enter data into the textbox. When I run the program, the sec I try to enter a letter or number into the textbox the program ended.
How can i limit the user to input only one period in textbox cause in my textbox the user can input may periods on it??

I don't like validating through the TextChanged event either as I believe that to be the cause of some issues. Doesn't the Textchanged event validate on each time a letter is typed?

This is the code for the trackbar. At the moment as the user moves the trackbar it inserts the value into the textbox. I want this to work in reverse also. user inputs value into text box, trackbar moves.

View 2 RepliesSo what happens is. I have this JAVA Code which i am making out of a vb form to help me develop quicker in that. So, when i click "Button1" a formula enhances and gives an output "TEXT" Which i want to choose what lines it shows on my "MultiLine Textbox".
Basically, How do i make it so when i click a BUTTON a text is written in a MULTILINE-TEXTBOX which i get to choose which bits of the text goes on which line.
the example is:
("this goes on line 1")
("this goes on line 2") ect.
Inside a multiline Text Box I want it so that when a user presses Ctrl AND Enter then a new line is entered. But, if they press Enter on it's own, then it acts like the Accept button on the Form. I believe this is how Facebook does it.
