In a C# content page...the lblSuid.Text = Master.SUID is doable with the same master page...why can't or how can i access that property in a VB content page from the C# master page...I have gotten it to work C# to C# and VB to VB...but not C# to VB.

i have a page called a1.aspx, with the Masterpagefile = a1_master.master. Now the master page has its own divs and images for design purposes. I have an web application of 200 web pages and all has a single master page. Most of the content pages use AJAX controls so most of content pages has its own ScriptManager. Now I have a requirement to add a link with HoverMenuExtender control and for that I need to put ScriptManager in the Master page, but it is working only in the content pages where there is not ScriptManager.

The problem is one of my htmlcontrols on content page i change on the LoadComplete event server side of the content page. I also have some code for disabling controls on the Master Page PreRender event. For some reason all controls on the aspx side go through the Master Page prerender except the ones that i change on the LoadComplete side. How can i make sure the entire content page loads and then the Master Page PreRender event is called, making all the controls go through that event.

I ve a masterpage(myMaster) where I ve a variable(lets call is myInteger) I want to access in an external class.
Usually I just do that in my aspx: <%@ MasterType VirtualPath="myMaster.master" %>
And then I can access to it in my code behind doing: Master.myInteger ...
My issue here is I want to access it in another class(where there is no .aspx)
I tried doing
Master.MasterPageFile = "~/myMaster.master"
Master.AppRelativeVirtualPath = "myMaster.master"
but then Master.myInteger isnt recognized.
I'm doing some internationalization for first time, and I have an issue: I would like to know if it is possible to internationalize from a master page. I added a dropdown list with some languages and I'm using a session , so when I change a language, the new Culture is detected and it changes, the page is reloaded and the contents (I'm using resources) translated. i have invoice form separated into 2 parts the upper part is master (header) and detail (body) in invoices where header contains date,name,invoice number,etc ..and the lower part is the body contains the datagridview with its details like the item name or code,qty,price,discount,etc the problem is i want to save the invoice headers in a table and the body in another different table but with a realtion between the 2 of them by the invoice id i think i put it in the invoices' form load. but i cant get it right.by the way iam using vb. net 2005 and my db is sql 2005.

I have a problem regarding the autocomplete extender in ASP.NET - it works fine in all pages I have, but NOT in a master page and i don't know why.
Here is my code:

I have created data sources from my objects in my project, some of which have other objects as members. When I want to bind a some objects to a data grid I would like to display some of the values from the member objects in the data grid as well but the examples I have come across seem to use an entire other datagrid or controls to display these member object values.
