I am doing a project for college where I have a booking system. The people book for a time slot and I would like to work out how to have a break down of time slots say for one hour periods throughout the day. Something similar to the bottom half of this picture [URL]. How would I go about something like this in VB.NET?

I want a 4th combo Box that will Start from Doctor's Start Time upto Doctor's End Time with the interval of Appointment Duration eg. Suppose the Start time is 08:00 and End Time 10:00 with 24 hr clock the appointment duration is 30 mins then the 4th comboBox should Display

I have got the following code for if in textbox1 the would be appear as 10:10:00 AM and in textbox2 the time will appear as in 4 hours time slots automatically as 06:10:01 AM ..if the textbox2 time will be 06:10:01 AM then MSg box will appear that "You can not registered to this site because the 4 hours time slot will be over " [code]Remember in textbox1 the time would be any .....and textbox2 will auto generate time according to textbox1 to maintain 4 hours time slots between textbox1 and textbox2

View 9 RepliesI have a application which gets info from an external feed where dates are in the format ddMMM. I'm trying to turn them into full date format so I was using DateTime.ParseExact. Which was correctly working out whether it should be 2011 or 2012 . But it is erroring when trying to parse 29FEB (which should be 29 Feb 2012. I can guess why its erroring. But if that correct behaviour is this documented and is there a better alternative? [code]

I'm developing a finance software and I want the user to enter a bill and pick the due date via month calendar. I getting it to work was the easy part, but now I only want one month calendar, for each time a user enters in a bill and picks a date.every time the user goes to pick a due date I have to call one of the several I have on screen.Here is my code that I have so far:Add due date button:

I would like to integrate a day or week view to a time recording application. This would enable users to add preset activities to their calendar and edit those actiivities to reflect the time they've spent on them.A perfect example would be the excellent work from April16 here . Unfortunately, my company will not pay the price April16 is asking for this component. No need to post comments on that...The time recording application already exists but was recording activities in a different manner, which enabled me to use DataGridView with activities and percentage of time spent on them. I would like to make it more user-firendly.

So I see one frame, but there are several others behind it that I can only see if I drag the contents of the current frame to the side. Is there any way to view all of the frames at one time? I don't know how to edit or add something new to this form.

When I leave the application, I would like to return and for the new nodes to still be there. I've tried My.Settings, but I've decided there must be another way to do it in a file. For each node, I need to save the key and text, and reload it next time.

I have an ASP.NET application with a SQL Server back end. I am storing all my dates in UTC format and doing the appropriate conversions to the local time zone of the browser viewing it. One of the pages asks for a start date and end date (no times).
I am taking the start date and setting the time to 00:00:00 hours (midnight) and I'm taking the End time and adding a time of 23:59:59, so that the date range covers the whole day. Now what I'm trying to do is do a SQL query to do a search for records in this date range. The problem is, the data in SQL is in UTC time and the user is typing their dates and times in their local date and times. My quickest solution was to convert the date and time to UTC, then search the records. However, by doing this, I am to believe ASP.NET converts the given time and date to UTC based on the server time zone. How can I convert a date and time to UTC time based on the time zone of the user?
