I'm creating a Multiplayer LAN game in VB 2008 here is what I wanted to do I created a textbox named txtbuttons.text. If I inputed a value, for example 23856 in the textbox.The Values will be distributed in different textboxes.
example
Value of txtbutton.text = 23856
2 will be distributed to txtAns.text
3 will be distributed to txtAns2.text
8 will be distributed to txtAns3.text
5 will be distributed to txtAns4.text
6 will be distributed to txtAns5.text

My form has a texbox where user enters an ID. IDmust be4 chracters in length andof the form: begins with either "E" or "e" and the next 3 chracters cannot be "all characters".

I am looking for a code snippet which opens a image, creates a clone of this bitmap in memory disposes this opened image so that all handles are closed.
Usually we can open a bitmap using this[code...]
the following code however keeps the Image File locked until the application is running, any suggestions how to dispose it properly. (So that no handle is left open )
Things i already tried: use dispose method of bitmap <= doesnt work (need to write implementation)

When I enter something in textbox1 at the debug it will do the if contain = false
but the if contain = true doesn't work. I tried a lot, but it still doesn't recognize true.

My issue is that some websites only allow say 15 characters maximum to be used to create a user name where other sites do not. Currently I have one text box on the screen and a button, and a web browser that navigates to two sites.Site #1 has a cap of 15 characters max to create a user nameSite #2 doesn't have any maximum amount of characters to use.I am wanting to know how I can enter lets say a 20 character username into the text box and have the code set a max of 15 characters for site one and nothing for site 2. I want it when I type anything, it will start at the third character of the textbox. Ex. I have this amount textbox that has .00 on it, whenever I type numbers it will start after the period. So if I type 300 then it will show 300.00
