Asp.net - Clearing Textbox And Hiddenfield?
May 4, 2009In source code of asp i'm using onClick() in textbox i.e
onClick="openpopup('ct100$contentPlaceHolder$hdpackageid',
'ct100$contentPlaceHolder$txtpackageid','package')"
for opening a popup containing package details.and in its selection in popup packageid is stored into a hiddenfield and packagename is stored into textbox. I need to clear the hidden field and textbox after selection, if I do not need it. I use "this.blur();" for not editing the text box. I need these things to be write in vb code,means in onClick I want to clear textbox, hiddenfield and then call popup.

Sep 20, 2010I'm having issues with program that uses radio buttons to select between 2 different forms, that are displayed using showDialog. When I click a button to perform calculations in either form, it will act normally and display the information, however when I click the Clear button to begin a new calculation, the form will close, does anyone know why?

There is a logical check to see if you are a certain gender and select an illness that is not possible for that gender.If there is a problem then a msgbox will pop-up and the illness checkbox will clear. The problem is that the textbox for age resets to 0.

May 25, 2012Regarding my college project. i'm working on a sales system . i have a form which consist of all the following information( item code , item name , item price , quantity of item ) which is display using a data grid . data input by user using text box and all this information will be stored in a database(sales database) i'm using ms access 2007. the grand total will be displayed in a text box . and amount paid will be input in a text box too , my major problem now is how to i create a reciept that will have all this information of the purcase. i have a reciept button . what the next step ? i dont have any idea how to get the reciept done.

At the moment it reads in what I have in a text file, splits it up based on where commas are placed and puts the split data into an array, i.e. if the text file is a,b,c it will split up the 3 characters and put them into an array.
What I want to know is, is it possible to write each item from the array into a new TextBox - in the same way that It adds 1 to the 'i' variable each time, except with each new item the TextBox it uses goes up by one, i.e. 'a' in TextBox1, then 'b' in Textbox2

Feb 1, 2012I have found if you put a text box into a menustrip item everything under that menu no longer show it's properties when clicked and double clicking on the item does not got to the code until you click outside the menustrip. This behavior is only present when the menustrip render mode is system and only when a textbox is in that menu item. Fails with visual studio 2005 and 2010. Am using visual basic. Changing render mode from system to anything else makes everything work, change it back to system and it does not work. This only happens with a textbox in the menu strip item.

Here is the problem,however: if the text is more than 1 line, the list box does not show all the text.It ends up looking messy.So getting back to my question, is it possible to make the list box item height for an item depending on the amount of lines that item contains?This is a one line sentence in the list box and should take up one line.This is a multi line sentence in the list box and should take up two lines for item height.
