Sep 6, 2010

Dim newImage As Bitmap = New Bitmap(PictureBox1.BackgroundImage)
Dim bmp As Bitmap = DirectCast(PictureBox1.BackgroundImage, Bitmap)
For x As Integer = 0 To bmp.Width - 1[code]....
now how could i have it. say if x,y= any shade of black Then.'Take Action' im making my own paint type tool so im jw how i could paint all black even if it is just 1 digit off from 0,0,0'<- Black' give me some example code on how to loop threw some lines of r,g,b values so i could use that in my function
I have a form with a lot of LineShapes on it, and basically what I'm trying to do is make certain lines a blue colour and others a black colour, depending what it's in an array of integers. Each line is called line1, line2 etc. So if one of the values in the array is 3, then line3 would be coloured blue.
I have the following code to handle all the lines more easier: MeterArray = New PowerPacks.LineShape() {line1, line2, line3, line4, line5}
However, since I'm going to have about 50 seperate lines, this is going to look quite messy when I reach line50. So my question is, is there a tidyier way of handling these lineshapes.
I have a GridView with image buttons for selecting rows. I am using an OnRowDataBound event to color selected rows Blue:
e.Row.ForeColor = System.Drawing.Color.Blue
Now that works great as long as I don't set a color either in the CSS stylesheet or on the grid Items themselves. If I do that, then all rows are colored that color and I don't get my Blue selected rows color for selected rows. I would like to color the text in the grid something other than black.
I 'm currently developing program which I can check the lines of each textbox if it has same length. The code is working properly in few lines like 2000 lines, but when I try to load a textfile which has 50,000 lines, my program is not responding anymore it takes forever. [code]...
Can somebody give me a hint how to multiply each line in a richtextbox with a value?The richtextbox will have ex. 1000 lines with numbers, and I want to multiply all these lines with with a number.
I have a richtextbox, with random values in each line:
a1,a2,a3 b1,b2,b3 and so on.
This textbox stores the values in a jagged array after lostfocus. What i am trying to do, is for the user to have the ability to 'switch' values in each line if he wishes to do so. Each switched element becomes the first, and the first goes where the old value was. So it's basically a 'swap'. For example:Line1: a1,a2,a3 --> user highlights "a3", right clicks and a contextmenustrip appears with the option 'switch', once he clicks a3 goes where a1 was and a1 goes to a3. So the new Line1 would be: a3,a2,a1. After that if he switches a2, new Line1 would be: a2,a3,a1 Once the switch is done in the array, redisplaying the data in the RTB is not a prob.
Below is some code I use to loop through rows in a datagridview and set the row colour subject to a "STATUS" field and also changing font colour and boldness dependant on whether a flag has been set to true.
Is this code optimal / can it be cleaned up somewhat? Public Sub ColourMyGrid() Dim varStatus, varBagTemp As Integer Dim myFont As New Font(grdResults.Font, FontStyle.Bold) For Each row As DataGridViewRow In Me.grdResults.Rows varStatus = row.Cells.Item("Status").Value [Code].....
I am developing a report which outputs data in a SQL Table via an ASPX page, using VB. How do I code this so that all rows containing a "1" for one of the columns, shows up as red? Here is what I have so far. This doesn't cause any errors, but it doesn't show up as red either.
I don't know if this is a problem, but the ExceedsLimit and SixInARow variables are INTs in my stored procs, but then I am declaring them as strings in the code below.
Private Sub DataGrid1_ItemDataBound(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.Web.UI.WebControls.DataGridItemEventArgs) If e.Item.ItemType = ListItemType.AlternatingItem Or e.Item.ItemType = ListItemType.Item Then
i have a loop that does a simple math function and i need all the values to show up in a single message box. I've got it to when i get individual values minus the start value to show up in separate message boxes but i cant figure out how to consolidate can someone ?
'SHEETS For Each ctrl As Control In Me.Controls What am I doing wrong here? When I put in manual text after the line return it fill in but as is it doesn't pick up all the checkboxes under HEADINGS. It does create all the sheets under SHEETS.
Code: If (TypeOf ctrl Is CheckBox AndAlso CType(ctrl, CheckBox).Checked) AndAlso CType(ctrl, CheckBox).Name.Contains("Sheet") Then wb.Worksheets("Template").copy(after:=sheet)
I am going to get the values of REASON ID from the following codes.Such as 6 in <REASON ID="6" Description="Cash Reason">5 in <REASON ID="5" Description="Check Reason">.[code]
I have a List of structure's in my VB.NET program, and I'm looping over them, and change the values of the objects in the list, as follows
Dim retvals As List(Of SomeStruct) = parser.RetrieveData(new_path) For i As Integer = 0 To retvals.Count - 1 Step 1 dim temp as SomeStruct = retvals(i)
[Code]...
When I look into my List of structs after this loop, none of the values were overwritten. Why? I thought that I had references in my list, so if I change reference A to a struct, then reference B to the same struct should see the changes?
Using VS 2008 vb.net how can I change the color from green to yellow to red as my values decrease? Actually the logic is easy but my color isn't changing.
progressbar1.forecolor = color.red -- This is not working
Can I set up a change in the font color when a certain true value comes up with a logical test - e.g. If the "value_if_true" says STOP, can I have the STOP show up in a red font and if the "value_if_false" says OK, then leave it as a black font?
what if you created a pool of numbers: 1 - 21 and then chose a random selection from the pool? Something like the following:[code]This gets rid of those messy if statements and all of those loops.
I found this snippet which loops the the old and new values, but I need to figure out the Parameter names that the values are associated with.
Sub DisplayValues(ByVal newValues As OrderedDictionary, ByVal oldValues As OrderedDictionary) test.Text &= "<br/></br>" ' Iterate through the new and old values. Display the
