But the above code replace the line with 1,2,3,4 or 5. According to select case statement. How to modify the above code so that it sort the lines?

I want to swape the lines based on second and third column.. I must first swape based on second column in decending order wher the big number will come first. Like here the lines with number 30 will come first followed by 28 and so on. Then i must swape the colors. Like all the Black will come first follow by[code]...

Now that works great as long as I don't set a color either in the CSS stylesheet or on the grid Items themselves. If I do that, then all rows are colored that color and I don't get my Blue selected rows color for selected rows. I would like to color the text in the grid something other than black.

The only thing I can do for now is either use the substring function to remove the first character from all array values after 0 but I don't like that because it's messy and what if the split "works" as I want it to one one of the lines and knocks of the first character when I don't want it to.
I have a text file containing lines of data (File 1). I need to delete all the lines in another text file (File 2), which are found in file 1.So I could read file 2 line by line. And then once the line has been read, read file 1 line by line to search for a match. But that's going to be painfully slow.Or I could read file 2 into memory. And then read file 1 line by line and REPLACE the lines in file 2 with nothing, therefore deleting them. File 2 could be 100 mb, so I'm not sure about reading it all into memory.

I was wondering how to get the text under the each number and place it in the corresponding textbox.
It seems that on clicking datagridview column header, the column will be automatically sorted based on the column type. I have a column showing some numbers. If column type is string, it sorts "1","20","3" into "1","20","3". If column type is double, it sorts into "1","3","20" which is the result that I want. However, there might be some erros in the numbers and error messages(text) will show in the cell instead of numbers. So I cannot set the column type as double. I want to ignore these error messages and sort all the numbers. How can I do this?
Also, I need to add some background colors to different rows in datagridview. So in the column header click event, I call the bkgColor Sub to achieve this. My question is that how can I override the sorting method in this event?

I made a form that when you put your CustomerID in Text3 Box.. it access the records and make some calculations. now.. The customer will return the car.. Then his data should be deleted.. I want to know how to make that when I enter the CustomerID and press on the Command button .. It copies the other lines to a new output folder and doesn't copy these ... I need to go instance by instance of brackets and pull the number between the brackets and the lines after the brackets until the next bracket. Notice how different sections have a different amount of lines therefore a reading a fixed number of lines is not an option.

Is there a way to see how many lines are in a text file? This also includes blank lines. I have seen a lot of code in this forum before related to my question, but they stop if there is a blank line. I want it to be so that if there are like 10 blank lines
