Contact Form With Attachment Eithout Upload To Server?

I know this will have been asked a zillions time before, but I have searched and searched and still can't find an answer,At the moment I have a sort-of-ok php page that uploads picture to the server, emails it then deletes it - same as everyone else.
But, I have been thinking (ALWAYS dangerous) I want to change this so that I can have a simple aspx with smpt varification sent email with an attachment. "Without" up-loading to the server - is this possible and "VERY" simple, as I am just starting out with this stuff.
Has any got a link to a page that you may know of that will give a complete run down of something like this. Unlike w3schools which just give snippets

I am doing a task and trying to save attachment of email from exchange server utomatically rather than doing it manually. I have done some reseach in the website and found the code in the following link but it is not quite working for me. My first issue is that it stopped in the line _XmlDataDocument.LoadXml(_ResponseText), and said "The remote server returned an error: (407) Proxy Authentication Required." I have tried to set it as my own user name and password, but still not working.Secondly, can some explain a little to me about XmlHttp40.responseText? What it should return? A file name in the server or? How can I let the server know what file need to be saved? and to where?

I ave a contact form (VS 2010 / VB / .net4), and when the client fills out the form, I get an email -- which I like, but ....

But I'm expecting a lot of more emails than I had originally anticipated. Does anybody have any suggestions on what I can do? Is it possible to upload the responses into an Excel file, or something?

I have a Contact page in my resort website asp.net 3.5. I want to write code in VB.net to send my feedback to mail id.I have Name, Email Address, Contact Num and Message in the form. When the user enters all fields and the message, the message should be sent on admins mail id with all details. Is that possible? How can I do that in Visual Studio 2008 using VB.net?

i am trying to create a form in VS using ASP that when upon submitting a form the details will get automatically stored in an xml file which can be accessed later on a chosen file save path.i have 2 files ... "Contact.aspx" and "Contact.aspx.vb".i have created the form in the "Contact.aspx" and when trying to enter the fields in the "contact.aspx.vb" i keep getting several errors such as for example...

I am trying to get this contact form to work, but I get an error message saying: "failed to send message". The problem is the section of code near the bottom of the page where it executes this line of code: MailObj.Send(myMessage)'ve put dummy credentials in the snippet below but triple-checked my smtp un/pw and cant figure things out.

I have been trying to save a form, got the form saved - no text? been trying to email the form - no joy what so ever, sohow to print a form how you see it text boxes and all to a pdf reader? That way the form can be sent via attachment? How to with a click of a button save the form in its entirety, text and all. And on a click of another button the form is emailed to an address in a textbox?

I've been working on a site to allow clients to sftp data files to us (using SharpSSH.dll) My solution works fine on my development machine but as soon as I move it to production server I am unable to upload. I know that the problem is because my code is trying to pick up a file on the server when it obviously doesn't exist there so I need some pointers on the best way to resolve this - i.e. how do I adjust my code to allow for an sftp upload from the client machine? The plan is basically to (and im not entirely sure that I am going about this the correct way) use my web server as a go-between so the client logs on and sftps a file to another server.

this works fine but when I try to use it in a backgroundworker it just errors saying "Bad sequence of commands"
Am I missing something simple, I can download from the ftp in a background worker.

I'm trying to upload a file to a server with VB .NET. I can't figure out what to do to read the file to put in the post data.

I made a screen recording program that will save the pictures to my Hard drive but I want to know if there is a way to put it on a ftp server I have set up? I've got a question about attachment field (as OLE object/attachment) in Access Database and Visual Basic 2010. I would like to know, is there a possibility to use attachment field in the same way, in VB like in Access Database? What I want to do, is to make an application (connected to Access Database) for users from my company, that will allow them to open "Registration Form" and fill all required fields, and also add PowerPoint Presentation as attachment.
What is most important, I would like to have an access to this presentation.
Project Path:
Employee opens Application/Window Form --> Fill all required fields + attachment field --> I have access to the presentation from Access Database/or another Window Form (I can Open/Edit/Change the presentation)
So, what I would like to have - Window Form with attachment as icon, but after upload (by employee/other person) it has to be in the database.

I have the following problem: I have a client who will upload an Excel file online. This Excel file will need to be imported to a database table, which I can do using the openrowset command. Once it has been imported, I can display the data using a GridView.
Now, I have referred [URL], but in both of them, the upload folder (destination) is hardcoded. How can I change this to reflect the file's destination to be on the server? And, once this is done, how can I then use openrowset to extract the contents of the Excel fie?
Additionally, how can I emulate the entire process on my machine before it is deployed?

Right now I am using the simple my.computer.network.uploadfile(fileToUpload,mNetLocation, user,pass) to upload my files to the ftp server but nothing I see will create a folder on the ftp server, how can I do this?
I created some directories myself because I can predict what the directory names were going to be, but the other directories need to be created on the fly & are basically random, how can I go about creating the folder I need so I can use the method I already do to upload the files into that folder?I figured maybe it'd work, maybe the FTP server would resolve & add the directory itself when I tried to upload, but instead it failed saying it doesn't exist & forces me to create the directories manually.
