Feb 15, 2009I can't find an answer to this question anywhere. How do I add a control to the toolbar? I clicked Add reference and added the Microsoft Internet Transfer Protocol, but I can't see it on the toolbar. I also tried with another reference, but couldn't get it there either.
So, should it be there or am I completely wrong? Quirky commenters, please choose another thread. I just want an answer.
EDIT: To make it easier from the start for you guys: I use version 2008.

Feb 13, 2012I'm by far a VB expert, but I've used tabcontrols before without having with happen. VB 2010.I have a tab control element on a form, and on the tabcontrol, tabpage1, I have 21 databound controls that are being pulled from an Access database. Each control has it's own table adapter that is being filled from the same dataset. I also have a save button and a cancel button outside tha tabcontrol on the form itself.
When I debug the app, the forms load correctly and I can see my databound elements containing data. I can click on a single control on the tabcontrol page. Whatever control I click first, such as the gender combobox, becomes the only control I can click on. I can change tab OK, and I can click on the buttons off the tab control (although there is no underlying code for those buttons yet). However I can't click a second control on the form, and I can't close the form without closing the parent form. There is no other code on the trouble form other than the tableadapter fills.

Aug 29, 2009The situation is that I have a menu strip on the form from which the user can select an item, which opens a sub-menu, which opens another sub-menu which contains a combo box listing some options.
Eg. File>Project>Load>combo-box control
When the item is selected in the combo box, the code executes and modifies values on the same form, but the menu system does not collapse by itself.
I have to click on the form and then the menu system collapses.
I tried setting the focus to the form, but that does not collapse the menu system.
Does anyone know how to get the menus to collapse automatically?

Dropdown Menus, One That Works In Asp?
May 2, 2011All of my pages are built dynamically in code behind pages (I think thats the correct terminology (?), I load a series on HTML files then builld the page).
I want to use drop down menu (which will be in my header file). I tried this one: [URL]
When building the menu in frontpage in the html file it was perfect. So I added the ref to the css file in my aspx page but rather than allowing for the drop down option is just displayed all options (although the formatting remains as per the stylesheet).
Is there a script or a well known method out there for HTML drop down menus that will work when loaded into an aspx page?
