Create Custom Messagebox With Pause And Go Buttons?

I am fairly new to programming and vb.net and I am working on a small project but in the project i need a message box (2 different occasions) where the buttons, instead of Yes No say Pause and GO. The video [URL] told me to make a new form (dialogue) and then in my main form add a public sub.
Here is the sub I have:
Public Sub injectmessage(ByVal ingmessage As String)
Dim topmessage As New Message
Dialog1.Label1.Text = ingmessage
Dialog1.ShowDialog()
End Sub
All that does is puts the message on the messagebox.

I want to create my own custom MessageBox.
The default message box from VB contains a few options (as a parameter) like:
MessageBoxButtons.OK
MessageBoxButtons.RetryCancel
MessageBoxButtons.YesNo
MessageBoxButtons.OKCancel
etc...
How can I create a sub that also has a list of options the user can choose from??

Right now in my app I have a Pause and a Continue button, basically I enable/disable the controls on the form. Is there a better way to handle this.
Is there a way to lock the cursor in the control that it is in when the Pause button is clicked and then release it when the Continue botton is clicked?

I loaded up VS 2010 to work on a VB.NET project but for some reason the Run/Pause/Stop buttons are missing from the toolbar and I cannot set breakpoints. Only changes from yesterday to my system was this morning Windows was trying to install Visual Studio SP1 updates but all failed.

I have a messagebox with a "yes" and "no" buttons. I am asking the user upon "exit" (ing) the app, if they haved saved their work. The default button is defaultbutton2 "no" and it saves the file. If user selects "yes" they have saved their work, then I need the app to close.Here's the code:

I have a problem with the style of the button in a messagebox.If I call the following line of code in a current project the button get one type of visual apperance/style. And If I create a new VB.NET Windows Application project it gets a standard Windows apperance/style.
Windows.Forms.MessageBox.Show("Yaay", "Yaay!", Windows.Forms.MessageBoxButtons.OK)
See the difference between the buttons below.I suspect they inherit the visual apperance from it's parent or maybe from some project settings. But I have not been able to find out from where.Both projects are created in VB.NET 2.0, and both have same System.Windows.Forms - dll as reference (c:WINDOWSMicrosoft.NETFrameworkv2.0.50727System.Windows.Forms.dll).

I am having a problem and that is I have buttons to read text to speech like play pause and stop I have created 4 buttons Play,Pause,Stop,Resume but now I dont want the Resume button, instead when I click on the pause button it should pause the speech and later when I click the same button again I need the speech to be resumed this is what I wrote?

I have 1 messagebox which has 2 buttons (MessageBoxButtons.YesNo) usually we can change the focus of the button(yes and No) with tab key and we also can trigger the button with enter key.. but sometimes, i can't change the focus with tab key and can't trigger the button with enter key.i think the messagebox lost its focus..i have to click the form, so the messagebox will regain its focus how to set focus for messagebox?

I am trying to create a Messagebox/dialogbox that will allow me you Define the Prompt and the text for the two buttons. I started by looking around the internet and found [URL]. I am having Socket server, and I have two forms. One is the main form for the server and the other one is a custom made messagebox. When a request comes to the server the main form has to invoke the second form (messagebox). When the main form is open for the first time everything works fine. But when I close the main form without closing the application and open it again and request comes to the server the custom made messagebox opens but it freezes and looks like this:

After using a form as a replacement for MessageBox I do have a need to make it automatically adjust its size to fit its contents, is there any rule out there that we need to abide to when it comes to sizing the form acting as MessageBox?
I am thinking I could use a panel that will auto-resize and just resize the form according to the size of the panel but I am not sure that will work as I haven't tried it yet.

I've asked this question before but am reposing it because I am still having problems. The snippit of code that I have problems with is this:

The problem with the code is that I am never able to press Button2. The loop continues and even with an application.doevents, I am unable to press button2 to make bEnd become true and pause the code. Does anyone have an idea of what I could use so that Button2 could be pressed during this event. The idea of multi-threading was tossed around before but I would need some good references to get an idea of how to do it.

1) Why the pause button and also the pause command does not exist in VB 2010 Express?
2) I have some solutions under 2010. In 2 or 3, while debugging, I can change instructions without restarting the application. In others, I cannot change anything (Is like readonly), Looking in 'My Applications', Tab 'Debug', Option 'Configuration' I can choose several Options. In the applications I can debug, the default is 'Active (Debug)'; in the others is 'Active (Release)'. If I change the options, the word 'Active' remains attached to the original option.

i know that you can use yes and no and retry and ok ect..buttons in a message box but what i want to know is that can you make the buttons custom. say insteed of yes it say "SURE WHY NOT." or insteed of no it says "WHAT ARE YOU INSAIN OF COURSE NOT."just wondering how ,if at all possable, how that would work and how i would use those custom buttons in a select case thingy.because i dont know if i change the YES button to say "SURE" and NO to say "R U CRAZY?"[code]

I found an excellent example of how to add your own buttons to the title bar of a program url...but the problem it that it seems a bit buggy and I was hoping someone else can verify this. The program was written in VS2003 (I'm pretty sure) and I am running VS2008. Can anyone test for the problem in the program in VS2003 and tell me if it's a problem with visual studio trying to convert the code to 2008 (and I think a newer .NET version) or just some shortcomings of the program? The problem I have is that the whole thing runs very laggy and moving the window around seemed to cause tearing and other re-drawing related issues.

Is it possible to create a custom listview with radio buttons in it? I will only ever have two items in the list view at one time. I would like the radio buttons to be a property that is set to True/False so that I can include them when I want to and exclude if I need to. The alternative is to use the checkboxes and control them so that only one can be checked at a time. However I do not know know how to set the enabled properties of the individual checked items (i.e. If Item1.checkbox = True, Then Item2.Checkbox.Enabled = False). The key point here is that the user needs to clarify which item ranks in priority and will set this using the radio button/checkbox.
