May 3, 2010i am working on my first database program. i believe that I am almost finished, except that i have a remove button like i would like to remove just a single selected row both from the datagridview and the actual database. this is just in case any information is entered wrong, and also to delete all the entries i put in just for testing purposes. the only problem im having is in updating the database after removing the row from the datagridview

When they enter their details and click the 'Login' button I want their details to be checked against data in a data table to see if they match or not. May 31, 2009I have a little problem with checking if a sql connection is good.
Attached here i have a simple vb.net program that should check if the sql connection to the sql server is good. If i just run it once it works very well. But if i use it in a timer and check the connection to the sql server every 10sec it will only tell me that the connection is good (V=0).
I have tested the code with turning of the sql server service.

Basically I want everything that matches a date range and a group of status codes that can occur when a product leaves a department.
