DataGrid, DropBox, 2 DateTime Pickers And A Button?

I am a complete Newbie, but have been struggling on reading one forum after the other.I have now come across a new challenge and every bit I have tried I have failed miserably.I have a Table I placed in Gridview on a Form and it shows me:
AssetNo
ReportGroup
Denomination
RecordDate
[code]....
To just test with the combobox and one Date Picker.As Mentioned Above this returns a Blank in my combobox and Gridview and there is no AssetNo to pick from in the ComboBox anymore.

i've come across many methods online to create a datetime picker within a datagrid view, but i haven't got a proper solution. i have a DGV which takes in truck no and date of arrival. i want the second column to appear as a datetime picker so the users can be restricted from entering anything else.

Possible Duplicate: How can i show month selection calendar in my appI have to select only month from a date picker Control. I know there is Date Format Property available for the same purpose and i am pretty happy with that.The only problem is that when I open my date picker popup, the date picker calendar popup is in Month - Mode. Is it possible to be same on Year Mode.

How can i create a file onto dropbox.My goal is to create a Chatting Form where the user types in his/her name or types in the name of another person. If he types in the name of another person, it will see if the file exists in dropbox. If the user types in his/her name, then it will create a txt file in dropbox named after the user's name.then my application will update the file every 5 seconds. that way the chat can commence.or is there another way. I need the date of one date time picker to be based off the date of a previous one. For example, I have two date time pickers, one for a Start Date, and one for an Expected Arrival Date. For example if the user picks today as the start date, the arrival date has to be a minimum of 2 days after today and a maximum of 4 days. The problem is the user could also pick tomorrow as the start date and this would also be valid. However it would obviously affect the arrival dates mindate and would give it a 1 day greater min/max value.

I am attempting to use the Sharpbox API to upload a file to my dropbox account. However, when I attempt to upload a file to the "Public" folder, I get an error stating: "Couldn't retrieve child elements from the server".I have followed the steps on page 10-11 of the documentation pdf and here is the code I am currently using (as a test I am trying to upload the token.txt file):

EDIT: However, I just realised that you cannot share files within the apps folder (that GetRoot points to), so therefore the problem is still occurring for me.
EDIT 2: I think the problem is due to permissions when creating your app on dropbox. When you first create the app, there is the option to grant access to either the "Apps" folder, or the entire users' dropbox. I was getting the error then I created a new app that requested access to the entire users' dropbox and was then able to get at the public folder.

I have a small program I am building for my boss to keep track of workers at certain job sites. With the way the economy is going my boss wants to track who is showing up at specific sites (jobs) and try to even it out among all the employees - some are not working full time... Anyway, I have two Access tables linked together with the main table being Employee Data. The second Table is Employee Jobs. Basically I have three forms. The main form on startup will show all of the employees in the company - this is basically a list of all added employees into the database (the second form comes up when you click on "ADD" - adding employee info).
My third form will be a form that basically pulls in the database info for the employee and drops all the employee names into a list box. I see in the tools section you can have a list box with check boxes next to the listed items. The form will basically be a form where job info will be saved to the database - like which job number, location etc. Instead of having to click on each employee that was at the same job and enter the information individually I would like a pull down box (with the check boxes next to each name) and then click on the employees that were at the job. Then hit save and basically all of the same job info will get saved to only the employees whose names were checked.
I am not sure how to go about doing this. some code snippets? Or explain how checking all the different names will cause the same work info to be saved to each each employees profile in the Access database?

I am creating a program where i can fill in a list of open/close times.
In total i have 14 datetimepickers which i set to custom format with hours and minutes.
Every dtpicker has an name (eg mondayopen, mondayclosed, tuesdayopen, tuesdayclosed and so on).
After setting the times right i want to throw everything at once into the datatabse.
Is there some kind of manner to loop through the datetimepickers and insert them into the db or do i have to do them all seperately?

I want to know how dropBox is able to synchronize the large data files without replacing or re-uploading the files again to the dropbox server
Example: an encrypted zip archive
Suppose I've a 1GB encrypted zip archive file Fully synchronized on my computer and on the dropbox servers. On my computer I added to that zip archive file a file of size about 5MB then saved the file on my computer. Dropbox is able to synchronize zip archive file without re-uploading the whole file again instead it just update it with the small change I've done. Also TrueCrypt containers works in that manner.

I am have an issue with my between sql string. After testing this i have figured out the problem but don't know how to fix this. I'm a Visual Basic beginner. I want to replicate an existing Mac application that I have with Visual Studio 2010. As you see below, this application (Mac version)'s form has a folder picture at the center. That's a drop box onto which the user can drag and drop a folder, and the application will get its path and write it to a database when the user clicks on Add. Now, according to Microsoft's web site, the PictureBox control has a property called AllowDrop, which is what I need, except that I don't see it as you see below. If PictureBox doesn't have AllowDrop, then what will be my next best alternative to accept a file/folder while displaying a picture?

I'm trying to match a certain DateTime value with the current system DateTime. I have a timer and a label on a form. Timer interval is set to 1000. When the form loads, the timer starts ticking. As soon as the current DateTime matches the value of the variable, it shows a message in the label. When I'm writing the following code, the values don't match even if the current system DateTime is equal to the variable. Label1 isn't showing 'Times Matched':[code]The default format of 'Now' is the same as I have stored in dtmVar variable. So there's no question of format mismatch. Does that mean 'Now' is not actually a DateTime property? Provided, my O.S. is Windows Vista Ultimate and all date/time settings are set to default.

I am using Visual Studio 2008 Shell and SQL Server 2008. Currently I am able to display DataGrid. But now I have a new requirement where I have to enable a text search in one of the columns. How can I implement this? I tried implementing a solution I found online, but I'm still getting errors. Please be gentle; I am a novice VB.Net programmer And since this is Shell edition and source data is on a different machine which I do not have direct access to, I am not able to debug at all.

I created a button in DatarGrid. Now I want to click that button and only when I click the button should the event be fired. Actually I want to Delete that particular row once the button is clicked. However, when I click the button, the Event: CellContentClick of the DataGrid gets fired. And that means if you click anywhere on the Datagrid, that even will be fired, and that makes no sense to put a Delete button. So I want to keep the Delete button and once the Delete button event gets fired, the record gets deleted.

I try to compare Datetime.Now with a Datetime variable I set, using the Datetime.CompareTo() method. I use a timer to compare these every second and display the result, but as the current time approaches the time I set, the result changes from 1 to -1, but never 0, which means these two are never equal. I'm suspecting the Datetime structure contains milliseconds?
