Saving Times In Database With Different Dattime Pickers?

I am creating a program where i can fill in a list of open/close times.
In total i have 14 datetimepickers which i set to custom format with hours and minutes.
Every dtpicker has an name (eg mondayopen, mondayclosed, tuesdayopen, tuesdayclosed and so on).
After setting the times right i want to throw everything at once into the datatabse.
Is there some kind of manner to loop through the datetimepickers and insert them into the db or do i have to do them all seperately?

I have a block of code which is used to save some information to a text file. I need to use this a few different times in my app.I could just copy and paste it each time but that seems messy and is adding unnecessary code. I'm sure I can just save the code once and reference it when I need to. I think it's done in either a module or a class or something

Possible Duplicate: How can i show month selection calendar in my appI have to select only month from a date picker Control. I know there is Date Format Property available for the same purpose and i am pretty happy with that.The only problem is that when I open my date picker popup, the date picker calendar popup is in Month - Mode. Is it possible to be same on Year Mode.

I need the date of one date time picker to be based off the date of a previous one. For example, I have two date time pickers, one for a Start Date, and one for an Expected Arrival Date. For example if the user picks today as the start date, the arrival date has to be a minimum of 2 days after today and a maximum of 4 days. The problem is the user could also pick tomorrow as the start date and this would also be valid. However it would obviously affect the arrival dates mindate and would give it a 1 day greater min/max value.

I am a complete Newbie, but have been struggling on reading one forum after the other.I have now come across a new challenge and every bit I have tried I have failed miserably.I have a Table I placed in Gridview on a Form and it shows me:
AssetNo
ReportGroup
Denomination
RecordDate

To just test with the combobox and one Date Picker.As Mentioned Above this returns a Blank in my combobox and Gridview and there is no AssetNo to pick from in the ComboBox anymore.

I have two date time pickers , namely "Date_of_ReturnDateTimePicker" and "Date_of_IssueDateTimePicker". Now, what i want to do is, that when i press the "total" button, the value of issue date should be deducted from the return date value, and the difference in days should be put in a textbox.

I am have an issue with my between sql string. After testing this i have figured out the problem but don't know how to fix this. When i select two dates i want to get the records between(from two date time pickers) the sql string is taking the day as the month so if i: Input 7/10/2011 the sql between string reads it as 10/7/2011

I'm working on a .NET component that gets a set of data from the database, performs some business logic on that set of data, and then updates single records in the database via a stored procedure that looks something like spUpdateOrderDetailDiscountedItem.
For small sets of data, this isn't a problem, but when I had a very large set of data that required an iteration of 368 stored proc calls to update the records in the database, I realized I had a problem. A senior dev looked at my stored proc code and said it looked fine, but now I'd like to explore a better method for sending "batch" data to the database.
What options do I have for updating the database in batch? Is this possible with stored procs? What other options do I have? I won't have the option of installing a full-fledged ORM,Additional Background Info:Our current data access model was built 5 years ago and all calls to the db currently get executed via modular/static functions with names like ExecQuery and GetDataTable. I'm not certain that I'm required to stay within that model, but I'd have to provide a very good justification for going outside of our current DAL to get to the DB.
Also worth noting, I'm fairly new when it comes to CRUD operations and the database. I much prefer to play/work in the .NET side of code, but the data has to be stored somewhere, right?

I have just started using vb.net and I have a checked list box with times throughout the day shown as
00:00 - 00:14
00:15 - 00:29
00:30 - 00:44
00:45 - 00:59
What I am trying to find is a way to get the current time and find which list item it fits into. What I think I need to do is to first of all get the current time and then go through the list splitting each item into 2 times and seeing if the current time fits. For example: Split the item 00:00 - 00:14 to 00:00 and 00:14 and then check if the current time is more than 00:00:00 but less than 00:14:59 and if so do certain task.how to go about taking each list item and splitting it into 2 separate times so I can check between them?

I have managed to create a connection to the database and am able to save information to it from my form, the form contains 22 textboxes, a save and another exit button. I have set the form to retrieve data in the form_load. I have used the "UPDATE" SQL command on the save button and it does save the data on all 22 textboxes (all textboxes are linked to their separate columns). But only one record will be needed that is why I did not use the "INSERT" command.
The problem arises when I click the save button, all (19) textboxes are saved but when I retrieve the text (by reloading the form), each of the 20, 21, 22 textboxes (only) the text of the 20th textbox keeps on moving tho the next textbox e.g. 20>21>22>20>21>22 is interchanged amongst themselves.

I'm working on a project which are generating some data from my VB.NET software and I wish to save those data into sql server. But my concerns is the speed of saving and the large amount of data. For every 0.5s, one set of data will be generated and the process will keep running for about 8 hours, so at the end of 8 hours, roughly there will be 60,000 set of data generated.May i know what is the best option/method of saving the data into the sql server in not hanging up my software and also keeping the pace with the speed of 0.5s data being generated?
- Speed of 0.5s. I have to maintained for every 0.5s, one data must be generated. Cannot delay too much.
- I can afford delay in the sql database, meant the data might not be necessary close to real time.

I created a database in access 2007, linked it to my project in visual studio 2008 (vb). When I enter some data using the UI, it does not save it in the database, and it's gone as soon as I run the program again. I dragged the textboxes from the datasource panel, onto the UI..

I am developing a software for a restaurant which is owned by my sister. I would like a functionality that will make her send all purchased items into a listbox,and afterwards which will calculate for the total plus VAT. I'm saving data to a database, data from a listbox and checkboxes.In the listbox, on the form, there are 20 records and then there are 20 corresponding checkboxes.I need to save all 20 records to the database so really I need 20 new rows. What I have managed to get working so far is that it will save the last record only.Here is the code that works:

In my project the "teacher" must enter grades in the Grades database then save it and click the Semester Average button(btnSA)to display the grades in the database. Well I can't the the data to save. I have read all the posts on this and tried a million different suggestions from the posts and I still can't get this and I don't know what I am doing wrong. I am making a simple program in Visual Studio 2010.My program connects to a MySQL 5.5.8 database running on my computer through XXAMP. I have used the Connector/Net 6.3.7 for MySQL to allow me to do this.
This is the local information for the MySQL server:
Server: 127.0.0.1
Port: 3306 (default)
Username: root
Password: admin
I have successfully created a Data Source for this server. The DataSet is called 'testdbDataSet'.
This is what my program looks like:I do not want to use the navigation bar that Visual Studio gives me at the top. Instead, I want to use the buttons shown below the input fields. The btnAdd button I believe should clear the two fields. It is currently working fine. I want the btnSave button to save the stored values of the two input fields to the database. I do not know how to do this.

I am trying to make a program (kinda like a game, but no graphics). Well, everything on that is fine, and ive made this program once before in VB6, but that code is long gone and I am trying to make it again. Well, here is my issue. I want the users to be able to create items on the server end (as well as maps, npcs so on and so forth) and I was wondering if there is a way to do this without using a database? In VB6 I used several ini files, but this is not a recommended way of doing things anymore. I dont want each person that uses this to have to install SqlServer on their computer either.

i was working a program that has two forms. first form1 has a datagridview for viewing. with a button ADD and SAVE and disregardchanges.then when i click add another form2 with textboxes to input data. with buttons ADDTODATA, ADDANOTHER and CLOSE when i click ADDTODATA the data will add to datagridview in form 1 and when i click ADDANOTHER i also input another add ADD to datagridview to view.and when i get back to form 1 i have a choice if i will SAVE ot DISREGARDCHANGES. if i click save all data will save.
