I have image in datagrid view on clicking on that particular cell of datagridview the image in that particular cell must go in picturebox and the user crop the image in picture box as the user wants. then the croped image should be saved in another picturebox.

(imageData -> image) (imageType -> varchar) (imageLength -> bigint)
Thus the imageData will be "Binary data" and the imageType will be like "image/gif" and the imageLength will be like "6458".......

It works fine, but the problem I have is when I press F12, it will take and input the picture into the PictureBox1, but if I try to clear it, and then do it a second time, it wont work a second time. I have an app that loads a jpg into a picyure box, then updates exif data in exifworks classThe problem is that when I save the image(from image used for picture box) or class (to save exif data) then try to delete, sometimes I get success, others it won't allow delet I have gone to the trouble of using gc.collect, do events, put the delete in a timer & wait for the delete before continuing & still get the problem

View 1 RepliesI added 7 bmp files in the Resources tab of the Project Properties I have 7 PictureBox controls, for each control I set the Image property to a certain bmp saved in the Resource section.Everything was fine, however all of a sudden I got this warning message for each PictureBox
"The type 'My.Resources.Resources' has no property named 'lla_nodev'."lla_nodev represents the "lla_nodev.bmp" file I added in the Resource The worst thing is that the Form is unabel to load in the designer view, so cannot I modify it. The application is able to run though,with apparantely no problems in run time.
I made a picture box and imported an image named Title.jpg. Later I made adjustments to the picture and imported it again without deleting the original(mistake). The new one had the name automatically changed to Title1.jpg. So I deleted the original image from resources and renamed Title1.jpg back to Title.jpg.
Now I got two problems. First, only Title.jpg is on the solution explorer, but Title1.jpg(along with Title.jpg) still pops up on the resource list when I click on Image property of the picture box. There's only the name and no picture, and I don't see a delete option. How do I get rid of it? Second, even though I changed the image to the new Title.jpg in the picture box, the old one is displayed when running the app. What's up with that?
I have some code that allows the user to browse for an image and then when that image is opened, it is copied to a new directory. This all works fine, but I would like to know if there is a way to create a thumbnail of this image and save it into a subdirectory inside the directory where the original image has already been copied?

I have a Picturebox and a two Buttons on my Form. On click of one of the buttons I want to change the image in the picture box at runtime.
This works fine when I give the location of the image (the full path ) on my computer - but then of course it will not work if I use the solution on a different computer .
So I have made a folder named "Pics" inside my application and added two images into it.
How do I get to this local folder in the following code?

instead of the usual,
Picturebox1.image = system.drawing.image.fromfile ("C:UsersMyName My PicturesMyPicture.jpg" )
