Using while loops, I'm trying to display tracks/songs under particular genres, as listed in a simple text file, from which the programme reads.The issue is, although I can get the columns to be named after the appropriate genres, as stated in the text file, the songs are read, and placed in the first column, regardless. I can't seem to get them to move to the next column, when the previous genre is finished.[code]

I am reading a textfile and extracting information from each line. For example string1 and string2. I am then writing these string to a datatable.
However, sometimes there will be repeats in string1 and string2.
If there are repeated lines I would like to be able to delete the repeating line and add a counter to find the total number of repeating lines.
so if a string repeates 3 times I would like there to be a column with a 3 displayed next to the line in my datatable.
I have multiple datasets that I would like to combine into one. There is a common ID field that can be associated to each row. Calling Merge on the dataset will add additional rows to the dataset, but I would like to combine the additional columns. There are too many fields to do this in one query and therefore would make it unmanageable. Each individual query would be able to handle ordering to ensure the data is placed in the correct row.
For Example lets say I have two queries resulting in two datasets:
SELECT ID, colA, colB
SELECT colC, colD
The resulting dataset would look like
ID colA colB colC colD
1 a b c d
2 e f g h

how to print, and got it working pretty well. The text string I have printing into a rectangle, and if a word does not fit it will wrap down to the next line, and then keep going like that, but now I need to split my page into three different areas that will each print different text.I am pretty sure I could draw three different rectangels then draw the text I need on each of them, but is it possible to somehow merge them together into a single rectangle that will be printed?

View 4 RepliesI have divided the circle into rows and columns and each block(square) formed in the circle is of equal size. I have the X and Y co-ordinates of each square/block. Each block is either defined as good or bad.
Problem: I need to add 2 blocks on the same row and determine if the result is good or bad. If any of the block is bad, the group of two block is called as bad. If both are good, only then group is good. what would be the algorithm for it? I need to do in visual basic language. Also, I need to do more cases like adding 3 blocks and determine if the group of 3 block is good or bad. In this, if any block is bad, the whole group is bad.
Update: When I divided the circle into rows and columns i.e blocks, I remove the blocks that are not in the shape of square. That is, those square/blocks which are touching the circumference of circle are deleted. I can upload the photo tomorrow now.

I am currently using the DataBindingComplete event which seems to work fine, but it fires every time I change a cells value.
