May 27, 2011Visual Studio Pro 2010 Win 7 64 bit running bootstrapped to a MacBook Pro i5 (blasphemer!!!) works really well though!!New to vb.net, have used vb6 for several years and finding the transition interesting to say the least.I have an access database with a vb.net front end all auto bound by the connection and binding wizards (I know, I know...) Not too complicated, but a simple 2 table related db. On the form the parent table shows customer details with the child table related and displayed by datagrid. I have a field in the child table for images and I have figured out how to store and retrieve images to the db. I am using the datagrid.rowheadermouseclick event to reload the picturebox on the main form as I click down the child table datagrid. Now I need to be able to click the bindingnavigator, go to the next record and have the program reload the image for the next child record. The problem is I'm trying to use an event from either the datagrid or bindingnavigator to reload the picturebox in the child table after moving to the next record, but all of the events I am trying are firing before the next record is moved to and therefor the logic I'm using to retrieve the image from the db is not working.
Anyone with an idea on how to move to the next record and then run my logic to populate the picturebox? What events might I use that fire after the next record has been populated? I know this is probably not that hard, but I have been racking my brain all day now.

WHat i have done is Create a SQL string that takes the ID 544 and searches through database. If a match is found the the same as the LOCATION name on another Table then it takes the LOCATIONID (it will be the ID, but not at the moment) and puts it into a listview along with its IN STOCK.THe location Table looks like so:

Running through this code. The system checks the "NewLocation" checkbox ONLY!

What I want it to do is when cells(3) is checked, Cells(4) should be populated instantly with the value from Cells(5). Rather than still show 0.00 until another checkbox is clicked. I think th eproblem is in the eventhandler as highlighted

Now, my issue is that when I set cbStaticRolling to the CheckBox control through FindControl on the e argument, it seems to set the variable okay, but doesn't seem to be setting the right one, or setting it properly, because "Checked" property is false regardless of whether I check the box or not?

These two fields have been populated with false and true values.
On my form, I have a datagridview which is populated with various values from tblProjectpatients.
The problem am facing is that the checkbox's for Yes and No on the datagridview are empty at runtime eventhough at the backend they have either False or True values.
I am expecting the checkbox showing on the datagridview to be either checked or Not Checked depending on the True or false values.
