Display Only A Portion Of A Line Of Text From A List Box?

I have a list box with information that needs to be displayed in a text box. Each of the lines in the list box has 2 types of information-Name and setup data. When I click on the line I need only the setup data to be displayed in a text box. This data on all lines begins at the 42 column. I can display the information using SelectedIndexChanged but the entire line is displayed. In other words I need to display only the data from the 42 column to the end of the selected line.

Was trying to make a little project which will login to a site. The problem i am facing is with the captcha code display..
Was searching around to get the captcha to the form directly but didn't found anything useful.
So my question is how to display only the area of the captcha on the form instead of the complete form.
Like suppose I want to display only the portion where the logo of Visual Basic .NET Forums - The Exclusive VB.NET Community is located instead of complete webpage.

I need a Data ComboBox having GridView in it's List Portion to have multiple columns in it. Purpose is Consider a 'Products Combo Box' where i want following fields to display
1] Product Icon
2] Product Name/Description
3] Product Price
4] Product Stock In Hand
where i can Format the 'Price' field to say Currency Type, 'Stock In Hand' field set to Particular ForeColors (at Run Time) depends on wheather the current stock is Negative or below minimum range or adiquate stock and so on. Similar controls are already available with MS Access so Why Not In VB?

what i need to do is open a txt file, read line by line, decode each line into an array and display. Now all works ok apart from one line.

I have a label that is supposed to display a word for 5 seconds and then move down the list in a text file and display the next word.I'm oddly able to make it work in random mode, but not going down the list in order.. random would be ok if used words didn't come up again.

My application reads the following data below from an xml file into a multi-line textbox - also scrollbar enabled (vertical). The data read into the textbox displays as "A1A2A3A4". I'm working in a program that need to do the following.An airplane has 15 rows (1-15), with six seats (A, B, C, D, E, F) in each row. I need to write a program to display the seating chart in a list box, when the person clicks on the desired row in the list box, the row number and the status of the seats in the row are displayed in seven read-Only list boxes.Now, I know how to create a listbox and the make the text boxes, my problem is how to display what is in one row into 7 text boxes.Then the person click on any of the text boxes a second form with 4 radio buttons is poping up. This form will have the status of the seats, (Unoccupied, Low Carb Food, Vegetarian and Regular) if any of these is selected will change the status of the seat at the listbox and the text box..Should I use arrays to fill up the listbox and redim when update is require?

Build a small application that fills a collection (list) with 10 sequential numbers, and then prints the collection(list) in reverse order, skipping every other member, until the entire collection has been displayed. For example, if the collection contained the numbers 1 through 10, they would print as:
10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 9, 7, 5, 3, 1 The print out should be in that order no matter what sequential numbers are in the collection (list). If it were 21 through 30, output would be 30,28,26,24,22,29,27,25,23,21 and so forth.
Note: you must use a collection - do not write down the numbers directly to produce the output. Loops should be employed but the loop control variable should be used as an index or subscript number. Your code should work even if I change the list of sequential numbers to something else. Remember that indexes count from 0 first -- the first item in a collection has index 0, the second item in a collection has index 1, and so forth.
I've got the first part of the problem, getting the numbers in the list box, done with no problem. It's the second part I am struggling with. I cannot get the numbers (I am using 1-10) from the list box to display in reverse order in an adjacent text box.[code]...

I was thinking a list box? but I'm not all too sure on how to use one. I'd like the user to be able to scroll down through the list OR use a search. How could I search the list?(Id use a textbox as what to search for and a button to search the list.)

My program creates a array of numbers as entered by a user and then finally adds them up. The form should be able to display the numbers typed in by the user. I know how to put one of these numbers into separate labels and could display each number that way but I wanted to know if there is a simple way to display the string that is created as a list in perhaps a read only text box or similar?

I've been looking through the FCL for a method that will allow me to erase a line of text from a text file and replace it with another line of text. Neither the StreamReader nor StreamWriter have a method for replacing or removing Text from a text file, as does the string object. Are there any available methods for erasing just certain lines of text from a file, and then replacing them with others?
In my code, I'd like to locate a certain line in the text file, and then at that point in the text file, use a For...Next Loop to replace each successive line of the text file with new text:

I have thios code that will load a php file (text file) into a sting via streamreader then its supposed to find and replace a portion of the text and write the changes back out to the file via streamwriter. Basically what I'm trying to do is read a text file line by line. After each line is read, it will put each line into a separate text box. I've been trying to do this for a while and so far I haven't been able to. I tried using a for loop, but that just put all my lines in to one textbox.

I currently have a list of words in a text file sorted in to alphabetical order and put into lower case, but I would like to be able to also display the line numbers on which these words are associated with.. but only one instance of.
For example,
"This is a random text
file that I
have just made
up this second"

As you can see above, I would like to show that "this" for example appears on line 1 and 4. Hopefully tabbed so that it keeps a nice look to it.

My timer pauses (sort of the display portion (label) of the timer indeed pauses, however when the timer is resumed it starts again, but not at the point where it was disabled. As an example. If I pause the timer at 10:00 and wait ten seconds when I hit resume it starts at 09:50, where it should resume at 10:00 or 09:59
