I'm trying to find a drag and drop cursor for use in a program. It is not in the standard Windows cursors. It's the one you see when moving a control in Visual Studio or when reordering slides in powerpoint - arrow with rectangle below.

View 4 RepliesWorking on a DragDrop application. I have a class object (built as an object) which has a GroupBox that is enabled for DragDrop.
In the class I have set it up so that the cursor will change when it enters the groupbox, leaves the groupbox, mouse is down within the groupbox and drag/drop is working. I also set up a label in the class object and changed the text in that label as well. Basically, the text changes in the label as expected including 'FEEDBACK' appearing when I am dragging the object BUT the cursor stays stubbornly as a pointer. This is tghe state of affairs either when I debug the class or when, after I build the class, it is run as part of the main program.
Here are the subs set up in the class.

What I mean by high quality is: Rather than the regular arrow with a rectangle. I tried using e.Effect but that didn't do anything... Am I doing something wrong? Or is this just how it is in WPF.

Each free seat is coloured in green and occupied seats are in blue.DataGridView is populated with names from database and user could add a name to a seat choosing from a list.Moreover the user has the possibility to move a name from one seat to another - not occupied via drag and drop operation.Eveything works well, but when moving a name from one cell to another I have to position the cursor over a cell that is one row above and four columns on the left of that one I choose.Which is the reason? is it possible to link a personal created class with a Mouse Event? I created a class and I want to make it possible to make it interactive with the mouse. So when the user goes over the GDI-created shape (which is declared and created in that class), he has to see some information about that shape, like the name etc.... And the user has to be able to drag and drop that shape.

View 8 RepliesI insert a text box into form1. I move the mouse pointer on top of the text box. I press down on the left mouse button and begin to drag the text box. The problem is when I let go of the mouse button the text box is not dropped. it remain floating around. My only way out of this is to press the escape key which places the text bnox bak to its original location. Thinking that it might be my mouse I tested it in Power point and everything works correctly.

View 4 RepliesI am writing a small program that has two list box's which are populated from my sql database. I want to drag an item from LB1 to column1 in a datagridview and drag an item from LB2 to column2 in the same datagridview.
I am getting close, but I am having trouble getting the data to drop. I did some testing and I can drop a string, but I am not able to get the string data from my listbox. I just get a datarowview. I see the string inside the "itemarray", but cannot get to it.

Also if I declare the nodebtn as a global variable, I do not face this problem, the button is dragable. However when I click to add new buttons, no new button is generated, instead a button is generated with the count on it.
