Exiting Sub - Program Calculate Fibonacci Sequence Which Calculates Numbers Correctly

I'm trying to create a program which will calculate the Fibonacci Sequence which calculates the numbers correctly however, there are a few problems.
1. When using a Do While...Loop the program becomes non responsive.
2. Kind of dealing with the program becoming non responsive; I am unable to stop the process by forcing the sub to Exit.

I am working on an assignment that will display the forst 10 fibonacci numbers in sequence. However when my results are displayed, the numbers are all stacked on top of each other like this: 011235813213455. I have tried to play with it but i can't seem to get my numbeers to space out or even maybe have a comma "," betweeen each number.[code]

I am supposed to design and develop a program to compute the first X integer numbers of the sequence, where the X value is entered in a numeric updown Control only using values 3-150. It is supposed to display the results in a listview control that has one column. I believe that I have the code correct but I am not sure how I am supposed to add items to the column in the ListView box. I have reviewed my text and there is information on creating the listview box and adding columns but it does not show an example on adding data to the column in the listview box. I can compile it with no errors but I can't debug it.

So I need to write a program that will approximate PHI (the golden ratio) using Fibonacci Numbers. It has to be within a negative power of 10 (between -1 and -16) oh PHI. So for example, if I put -2 into the input, the approximation of PHI would have to be with 10^-2 of the number that we're using of 1.618033988749895. Also, we need to show how many Fibonacci terms that were used to get to that number and the difference that the number that we approximated is to PHI.

I have attached the form in initial state. What you don't see in the initial state is 10 hidden labels. I want the loop(which I am calling as a function??) to compute the numbers and display in the labels. Example, if I input 1 for the first term, 3 for the second term and 4 for the total terms, the first 4 labels should become visible and have in them one solution each:
1 - 1
2 - 3
3 - 4
4 - 7

For some reason I can not get some fields to calculate correctly. It seems anything I enter over 24 in the Pay Rate field it throws it spits out the exact numbers I am trying to multiply. The FWT (0.2), FICA(0.08),and State fields (0.25) respectively.

Then you have to take that same range and find the product of all odd numbers between said sequence. I figured out how to find the product but only if the lowest number is also an odd number. For example, if I put in the values 1 and 7 the product is 105 which is correct. But if I put in 2 and 5 the product somehow becomes 10, when it should be 15.I have to use the MOD function to distinguish between even and odd numbers, which I know how to do however it's still not working out correctly for some reason and I'm completely stuck. I'm trying to get an If statement to check is the date picked from a datetimepicker is at least 3 days prior to the current date, I can get it to calculate the difference however if I chose a date that 4 days prior to the current date (i.e the result being -4), the else statement doesnt fire.is this something to do with the result being a negative value? I did try to assign the DateDiff result to a variable defined as a short and then used this variable in the If statement, but still get the same issue. Option Strict isn't showing any issues.

So if counter finishes, execute the following code

And if I add counter = 0 and km = 0 at the end of that "If counter > 4 And km >= 1 And kmcashset = 0" Then it doesn't calculate anything correctly. I supply it with 9 for Distance and it returns 4 for excessdistance which is correct but returns 7 for excessdistancecharge when it should be 4! When I supply 23 for Distance it returns 18 for excessdistance and 11 for excess distance charge which is correct. (???)

I think it may be the way I'm implementing it, through the use of AND or maybe it's because it's in timer tick?
-Minimum charge of $5 which covers 10 kgs for the first 5 kms only
-Each kg over 10 kgs incurs a charge of $0.50
-Distances over 5 kms incur an additional charge of $1 per km up to 10 kms
-For deliveries over 10 kms, the extra distance should be rounded up to the nearest 5 kms and charged at $2 for each extra 5 km block.
EXAMPLE 1:
Packet weighing 9kms travelling 9 kms
Standard charge for first 5 kms ($5.00)
Weight less than 10 kgs so no extra weight charge
Extra distance charge 9 - 5 kms = 4kms x $1 = ($4)
Total delivery charge = $5 plus $4 = $9
[But my program returns 7 for excess distance charge]
EXAMPLE 2:
Packet weighing 33kgs travelling 23 kms
Standard charge for the first 5 kms ($5)
Excess weight 33 - 10 kgs = 23kgs x $0.50 ($11.50)
Extra distance (23 - 5kms = 18kms):
18kms ( 5 to 10 kms at $1/km) = ($5)
13kms (18-5)/5 = 3 (rounded up) x $2.00 = ($6)
$5 + $6 = $11
Total delivery charge = $5 plus $11.50 plus $11 = $27.50

But i was wanting to know how to check to see if the data has been changed since it was loaded and bring up a diaglog box up saying the data has been changed or not saved, would you like to save the data before exiting?
I will have a form that will have a yes, no, and cancel buttons.

VISUAL BASIC 2008. Program Description: Create a program that calculates the amount of quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies are needed from an amount of change (entered in pennies). The program should use the largest coins possible (for example, fifty cents should use two quarters, not five dimes, fifty pennies, etc.)
I don't want the code already written out, I need somebody to walk me through making a code. Also, this is my first class dealing with computer programming so all we've learned so far is declaring variables and how to label objects, the simple stuff. I'm at a loss at how to start because a quarter is worth 25 but the program is supposed to show how many quarters once a user enters the amount in cents.

I am building a program that calculates the number of books by points.Ex: 1-3 books read are worth 10 points, 4-6 are worth 15 and > 6 are worth 20. The issue I'm having is getting it to calculate the the first 3 books, the 2nd 3 books and then the > 6.Ex: User inputs 8 books read. It should display 115 in the label.
1. I'm using an If statement (should I be)
2. Could I use a decimal for the > 6?
Ex: intTotalNumberOfBooks = (intTotalNumberOfBooks * intFirst3Books) *#D
I know this is something simple and it's out of VB 101, but it is my very first programming class and my professor uses a copy paste method during class.
