Feeding Form With A List Of Words?
Oct 8, 2010now because it's not convenient for me to type one by one the words in the text box...what i thought i could do is to find a way to feed a list of the words and then choose with the arrow keys which word it should be written to the specific file.

Aug 1, 2009I currently have a list of words in a text file sorted in to alphabetical order and put into lower case, but I would like to be able to also display the line numbers on which these words are associated with.. but only one instance of.
For example,
"This is a random text
file that I
have just made
up this second"

May 15, 2012I am trying to do a form feed & skip 1 page while printing, however with the below lines of code, i am not able to make a form feed.[code]I use PrintDialog to print the page contents. I am using "f" C#'s form feed character.Any thoughts on how to implement/make this form feed to work? Nov 8, 2011I am trying to figure something out. I have an application in which I am adding the ability to consume a feed. I have no problem with the feed itself, but my problem is how can I mark certain items as 'read'? The only thing I can thing of is to read the feed into a database. In this database, I add a column for 'read' which I update when the user has read the article. Then each time I retrieve the feed, I compare the feed to the database and only load new items into the database.

For example If there was a website that literally just contains random words (anything over 100 will do) and I could just select a random word from it? Dec 8, 2006I have found a list of words [URL] that I saved as a txt. I want to be able to cycle through it with my program I am making. I have a string and I want it to change everytime that timer3 is finished, timer1 will use it again.

C# - Access The List Of Words Of A Word Document From Multiple Threads?
Mar 18, 2011I recently had some problems with the performance of the Word object model. In an add-in that I wrote for Word I need to parse through all the words of a document and replace some of them or ask the user for the ones that have multiple replacements. I know that it is faster to ask Word for all of the document text content at once and then process it and put it back all at once again, but this is not suitable for my add-in because I need to have access to the range objects that represent the words that have multiple replacements so that I can somehow mark them in the document and present the user with a tool tip from which he can select the replacement he wants.
So for the moment the single great speed improvement that came in my head was multithreading since most people already have dual core or better. The problem is that all the things you find on Google say that multithreading in Office is a very bad thing to do.
So is there any one who managed to do this in a manner that worked in most of its usage? By this I mean if it also worked on other PCs then the development one?

I want to compare the contents of the input list (containing words (e.g., want, the) etc. to the ones of the trigger list (containign again words) and if a same entry (i.e. word) get the POS for both input word and trigger word from the relevant lists and put them into a property list. For example
input list (want, the, right)trigger list(want, there, wait)input list POS (verb, article, adjective)trigger list POS (verb, pronoun, verb)
Output property list (want:verb, want:verb) (only want is common between input and trigger list). Then I need to conduct a test between the two property items for similarites. If they are exactly the same, the code should output a confirmation "i.e., Yes" into a textbox. If not the code should output a "No" plus the contents of the property list into a textbox.

Apr 22, 2011Ok so basically heres what i need to do: Extract text from the webpage that meets a certain criteria. There will be a ton of these on 1 page and i would like to add them to a rich textbox on sperate lines.
I know that it needs to be in a loop and its needs to Parse the wepage(Dim web1 As String = Me.WebBrowser1.Document.Body.InnerText)
The criteria is: Starts with 1 to 4(random) integers, Followed by "my" then 13(random) numbers and letters. Or if it starts with "167my" + 6(random) number and letters.
Edit: Also im going to try to make it loop through a list of webpages to do this.

Extract XML From RSS Feed?
Jul 24, 2009I am having trouble extracting the response XML from an XMLHTTP request.
I am currently subscribed to a RSS Feed, [URL]
The code I have only retrieves the first 20 posts rather than all of the 133 posts that I see.
I am linking the problem to cookie settings. I seem to think that the request I am sending is not incorporating the cookie settings that I have on my computer.
You may have to subscribe to a feed to extract more than 20 posts. The standard for RSS feeds (without subscriptions) only allows a user to view 20 posts, HOWEVER, with subscription, the feed's number of posts grows.

Oct 12, 2010I'm semi new to visual basic, and I wanted to know if it is possible to make an RSS feed in visual basic that updates through a homepage that I give a link to and will post the information about the homepage in a text box or in seperate labels and perhaps have them link to the feed it is getting the info from. This I slikely far fetched but if there is any way to bring an RSS feed into the picture for my launcher for world of Warcraft that I am making customly, (Yes I know the regular wow launcher is good but I have a custom one I made with command buttons that lead to forums and homepage and play retail wow along with a private server command button)

API Feed - StreamReader Files Get Cut Off At End
Mar 2, 2011I am reading data from an API feed and saving the chunks into files. When the files reach 2 MB I start a new file and write to that file. What happens now is that an entry (<entry></entry>) can get cut off at the end of a file and continues into the new file. I try and reconstruct the files by taking the last entry and combining it with the first entry of the next file but this is tedious handling the data transmission and file creation.

But it errors out at this line: 'ds.ReadXml(reader)' with the following error:
A column named 'comments' already belongs to this DataTable.
