I want to find a url webbrowser control inside iframe.
1) my webbrowsercontrol opena url
2)that url has one iframe inside it
3) That Iframe has a link which I want to grab programmatically using vb.net
I am using a Webbrowser control to sign into Hotmail. Then once it is signed in then I'll just use this navigate code to open the inbox: I think that the problem is that the actual inbox(mail window) is within an iframe. I have to figure out how to call within the iframe. If you can goto hotmail and sign in and you'll see once your in the inbox when you view source it isn't the inbox's source but then when you right click then goto this frame then view the source to the frame it is.

I looked all over the forum posts here and didn't see the answer to a question concerning iframes within the webbrowser control (there were similar issues however). The forum has a classifieds section that allows members to post threads daily. I have a message that I like to send once every day to a forum and decided that it would be best to achieve this programmatically. However, I noticed in the visual basic 2008 webbrowser control, that it doesn't seem to automate the iFrames within the browser using the htmlelementcollection codes.

View 4 RepliesFirst off I hope I'm in the right forum.I have an application I built with the WebBrowser control in Visual Basic 2005. I am using the DocumentComplete event to track when a page has fully finished loading as some of the webpages I need to work with have frames.
The problem I am having is that when some iframes time out or don't load, the documentcomplete events stop firing. So if my webpage has 2 frames on it, we'd expect 3 documentcomplete events. One for each frame and one for the parent document once the frames have loaded. If say frame 2 does not load properly, the documentcomplete event for the overall document never fires.
I need to know how to find the HTML element the mouse if hovering over such as a link so that I can open the link in a new tab, what would be an easy way of doing this?

I have a .NET ActiveX/COM Object which has a WebBrowser control (among other controls such has buttons, etc) inside it.
This object seems to load fine, the buttons are displayed and working but, for some reason, the WebBrowser control doesn't show up!
Is there some limitation for this in IE (e.g., is IE afraid of something recursive, etc.)? Is there a way that I can overcome it?

I have a simple gridview that contains a label in one of the rows. I'm trying to access that label in the RowDataBound event, but for some reason I keep getting a "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." error on the line where I am using FindControl.
I've tried using "gvQReport.FindControl", "e.Row.FindControl", and "Me.FindControl" but nothing works.

What I'm trying to do is click an html link inside of a html table via code in vb.net using a web-browser control. The link I want to click can be anywhere in the first column of the table so I need to cross reference with another column in the table to make sure I have the re way I'm going about this is to loop through the html elements till I find the table I want (multiple tables on the page) then dump that table to an array. Then loop through the page again get to the table I want and then start comparing the link and another column in the now array. I need to check to make sure that the url of the link contains a work and that another column in the table contains a specific or lower numerical value. Basically where I'm stuck is while dealing with the html element "Table" wanting to identify and interact with another html element inside it.

Hi,I need to see if a webpage displayed via the web browser control contains certain words .I've tried parasing through the html but that contains too much junk html and css tags which caused problems(I've tried using regex to remove them).That was done by using property webBrowser.document.Body.InnerText.contains .
Are any way to search through the actual text on the webbrowser and not html via the program in ways similar control-f function on most webbrowser but using code to do that ?
