Forms :: WebBrowser Hide HTML Elements?

Dec 14, 2010

I developed a WebBrowser which loads a certain web-site for me. The next task, I would like to see only a certain info on that web-site which acts like a table serving as special informational news for me. So, I don't want another things to be appear on my loaded web-site. I need to hide html elements, so that don't appear on my loaded web-site. So, then the form will be like smaller and it will be more convenient to use. Maybe, I need also to hide or remove some java scripts. Do you have any recommendations for it?

Get HTML Source Code From A Frame In WebBrowser?

Mar 21, 2009

I'm trying to get the HTML from a frame in a website which is loaded into a WebBrowser in my application.

I have this WebBrowser so that the user can login easily by putting the username and password on the login form of the page so that i can get the HTML code from the protected page.

However, i have to read the frame code while the WebBrowser being on the main page because if i enter the frame, it redirects me to the main page again so there is no way of reading the frame code by entering it.

So i don't know how to read the frame HTML code of a website[url]...

Html - Dynamically Created Elements From Codebehind Need To Be Inserted Between Specific Elements

Sep 17, 2010

I created a method and pass the element type, id, and any inner text that instantiates a new html element. The last statement: Me.Controls.Add(element) adds it to the end of the page, but I would like it to be inserted in a specific position (between 2 divs within a form). What I am describing is very similar to this post on SO here, although it was for javascript.

Coding An ASP Timer To Rotate And Iframe Source Between 3 Different URLs?

Feb 2, 2010

I have a simple asp page with a large iframe that displays another web page. The goal is to have the iframe rotate between three different source web pages, and I want to be able to set an interval at which the iframe source will switch thus displaying a different web page within the iframe each time the interval passes.I have been trying to use the ASP timer control in order to do this, by putting the different intended iframe source URLs in an array, and using an array index to switch between the different URLs each time the timer ticks. When I debug the pogram, the iframe source jumps directly to the second array value (array index 1) and then just basically refreshes that same source url each time the timer ticks instead of incrementing the array index by 1 and cycling through the other pages

Html Source Code Doesn't Show Html But In Firebug Inspect Element Html Is There?

Jan 10, 2012

This may sound really stupid but I have to ask cause I'm not finding this answer anywhere.I have an application where the user will need to sign up for a new user account on the website [URL]..However when I am using Firefox's plug-in Firebug to view html I am getting something totally different than when I just right click on the site and view the page source.

What I am trying to do is to get the captcha from the website and display it in a picturebox on the application so the user can view the captcha, solve the captcha and then the app post is back to the service for a response.

Here is the source that I am getting using Firefox's Firebug to inspect the element:

<td>
<input type="hidden" value="Oo3Jo1I8bgzK68agMqo3s79ZZib2OkbK" name="iden">
<img class="capimage" src="/captcha/Oo3Jo1I8bgzK68agMqo3s79ZZib2OkbK.png" alt="i wonder if these things even work">
</td>

[Code]...

Why would the two be showing me two different versions of the HTML?

And how would you be able to grab that source to view in a picturebox using webclient?

Then once it is signed in then I'll just use this navigate code to open the inbox: I think that the problem is that the actual inbox(mail window) is within an iframe. I have to figure out how to call within the iframe. If you can goto hotmail and sign in and you'll see once your in the inbox when you view source it isn't the inbox's source but then when you right click then goto this frame then view the source to the frame it is.

VB 2008 - Automate Iframe In WebBrowser Control

Mar 9, 2010

I looked all over the forum posts here and didn't see the answer to a question concerning iframes within the webbrowser control (there were similar issues however). The forum has a classifieds section that allows members to post threads daily. I have a message that I like to send once every day to a forum and decided that it would be best to achieve this programmatically. However, I noticed in the visual basic 2008 webbrowser control, that it doesn't seem to automate the iFrames within the browser using the htmlelementcollection codes.

Webbrowser Control Documentcomplete Event Not Firing When Iframe Does Not Load?

May 23, 2008

First off I hope I'm in the right forum.I have an application I built with the WebBrowser control in Visual Basic 2005. I am using the DocumentComplete event to track when a page has fully finished loading as some of the webpages I need to work with have frames.

The problem I am having is that when some iframes time out or don't load, the documentcomplete events stop firing. So if my webpage has 2 frames on it, we'd expect 3 documentcomplete events. One for each frame and one for the parent document once the frames have loaded. If say frame 2 does not load properly, the documentcomplete event for the overall document never fires.

Testing Facebook App On .NET WebBrowser - IFrame Access Denied - Cross-Domain Scripting

Feb 21, 2011

I have a facebook iframe app I'm trying to test using a WebBrowser Control on a form in VB.NET 2010. Whenever I try to access the WebBrowser.Document.Window.Frames frame object on a document where my app is showing in the broswer, I get an Access Denined exception. Reading around on the web, I see people saying that this is to keep scripts in a document from accessing content in iframes that are pulling content from another domain, as per [URL] for security reasons.

While I totally understand why this is done for the general public, how can I disable it on my machine so that I can run these tests? I can't properly test my app without doing it in the facebook iframe and using the WebBrowser control is the only way I know to do this test programmatically. I'm on windows server 2003 and ie8, .net4.0, if that helps. I own the domain where the app is, and its in AS.NET MVC2, so if there's anything I can do to the web code to enable this??? I also removed the Internet Explorer ENhanced Security COnfiguaration component, but that didn't help.

Html - VB Basic RegEx - Save Value From An Input Tag In HTML Source Code

Feb 16, 2011

I am trying save a value from an input tag in some HTML source code. The tag looks like so:

<input name="user_status" value="3" />

I have the page source in a variable (pageSourceCode), and need to work out some regex to get the value (3 in this example). I have this so far: [Code] Which works fine most of the time, however this code is used to process source code from multiple sites (that use the same platform), and sometimes there are other attributes included in the input tag, or they are in a different order, eg:

<input class="someclass" type="hidden" value="3" name="user_status" />

I just dont understand regex enough to cope with these situations.
