Finding The Right Control To Show Result For Print?

I have a situation to show response coming back from host in some control of a Form and want to print it.The response is coming from Host mainframe system in text based format. I want to show the response in a graphical format. I am looking for suitable control that help me to print and should look like word document. I looked PrintPreview and PrintDocument controls but my requirement is there should be some control on Form where my formatted output should be placed (like Rich Textbox). Which control I should use.

I'm trying to lern VS 2010 from VB 6 and one of the things i'm hawing a problem whid is control array.In vb 6 if you create a text box it's named "Text1" and if you yust copy it and paste it it renames to "Text1(0)" and the new one's name is "Text1(0)" and the code would lock like this

then it would print for each loop the random result in one of the text boxes corresponding to i.
How do i do this in VS 2010?

Does anyone have any code snippet on how to get the pixel color of an hwnd using GetDIBits and print the result as a RGB value? I used copyfromscreen method and getpixel but it cannot processes it in 1ms timer interval.

I am using the Math.Exp function in a calculation, and the result essentially is Infinity / 1 + Infinity, which is 1 statistically, but it is showing as "NaN" (not a number). Is there a way to calculate/show the result of this as 1 (besides just testing for NaN and explicitly setting it as 1?) [code] X is a number larger than 709.782712893 in order to get the NaN result.

i've been working on a project that works with a MySQL DB, and every time the SQL executes and adds the listbox items it wont show the first result i have no idea what i am doing wrong here.

The end result is baffling me here are 2 examples when I debug
Mine: 640.1 * 49 = 31364.9
Debugger: 640.1 * 49 = 31360 ( not right needs to show the correct decimal )
Mine: .775 * 3 = 2.325
Debugger: .775 * 3 = 2.325 ( shows it perfectly???)

When logging into my system, I select the number of result that needs to appear on the report. In my stored procedure it selects count of all the data for a period. It returns all in the information, but I only want the number of records to appear on the report that I selected at the beginning.

Today I installed VB 2008 express and having some older experience with VB at school I tried to translate some algorithm functions to VB. I came across these lines which are very simple.I had one textbox and wanted to show The result is x when i click the button. so, here is the part of the program.

Because I write on paper in pseudo, "The result is", x would be correct and would show The result is x but instead, VB finds error. Does , indicate space here or does it recognise it as something else?

In vb.net I have control named checkbox1 that I can see at dropdown menu in properties tab. but in designer I am not able to locate it... Also when I am selecting CheckBox1 from properties' dropdown menu, no checkbox in designer gets highlighted.... How to find that control in designer?

We're using SQL Server Reporting Services embedded using the Report Viewer control on a Win32 VB.net page. Currently targeting .net 2.0, we can possibly move to 3.5 if it'll fix the issue.
When you view the report you can see the entire thing, however, when pressing print preview the last page of the report fails to be shown. The page number on the bottom of the report will say "Page 1 of 2" or Page "1 of N" but you can only actually see pages 1 through N-1.The same thing happens when you just try to print the report. But if I go to print preview, back to normal view, and print preview again I can see the entire report.

I have a client, who is running Windows 2008 Server 64 bit. He is running our software, it has a built in crystal report viewer functionality. The print dialogue just wouldn't work no matter what. It worked on our 32 bit box and we verified it. I verified it on our 64 bit box, and the print dialogue didn't open either. I did some research online. And one suggestion is to set m_printDlg.UseEXDialog = True. I tried that, but that did not work either...

I'm having a problem with part of my application I'm trying to get the directory entry for a computer object in AD (it could be mutiple computer objects based on whether or not the users passes a wild card for the object name). These names would be added add a child node of the parent node "Computers" in the tree view. I'm just having problems with using the search results...
