For Next Function For Checking If Label Has Text?

Well, its not text, but a number. I've currently got about 10 labels and right now I'm checking each one of them separately using if statements, but I've been told that there is an easier way using a For statement (I've never really got used to it...) to check all of them without having so many if statements... Currently I'm trying something like this (which, ofcourse, doesn't work and is completely wrong :X)

I have a listview with checkboxes for each items in the listview. You can see in the listview1_itemcheck event that when I tick and untick for each checkboxes in the listview, it will add the subitems text in the label. I have a form that I am loading text (strings) from a database into a label.text (so the text from the database shows up into the label) I have done this code in a class that keeps all my database stuff seperate.

I am using a label to display a song for an mp3 player. I wanted to scroll the text inside the label for anything that is longer than the label width. I figured out the width of the label and if the width of the text inside the label is longer. But I have no idea how to turn this into subtracting parts/pixels of the text currently displayed and how to append the subtracted parts to the end of the new text.

basically i need to change the text of a label where the name of the label comes from the value of a variable.So, for example,
Dim x as String = "lblTarget"
Dim y as String = "Target Text"
In this case the text of "lblTarget" would need to be come "Target Text". Basically, the label that is named the value of variable x would need to take on the text of variable y.

Is there any way to detect if the text in a label is longer than the label itself (assuming autosize is set to false)? I want to trim the text in a label so the last line is a finished sentence (everything after that sentence is removed). I hope you understand what I mean.
I want to go from this:"Hello. This is a test string. Most test stri..."
to"Hello. This is a test string."
Is there any easy way to do this?

I am creating a Pizza Order program as part of my coursework college. why something isn't working.

I'm trying to validate a form to be filled out by the users, and when the required section isn't filled, I increment an
ErrorCount += 1
variable to show that error(s) have occurred inside the program, I then also set an
ErrorArray()
to whatever the corresponding field number is, now I have 0-12 (13 fields). What I have also done is titled the labels that are associated with all of these fields to correspond with the ErrorArray() value that might be set, such as.
PatLabel0
PatLabel1 etc.
What I am trying to do is loop through the array contents, depending on which ErrorArray() values have been set, to go and set the corresponding fontcolor property of that label to red, to show that these now need to be filled out. This is what I have, but Visual Studio doesn't allow me to use the iteration through the loop as a reference to changing properties. Can anyone point me in the right direction to trying to figure this out, or at least tell me what else I could do. Just seems doing 20 if....then....else.... statements with 2 - 3 lines in each of them is redundant when 1 function line could do the same job. This is what I have.

I am having trouble adding label.text, datetimepicker.text and ComboBox1.Text into listview1 box.I have set up multiple columns, one for the label, one for the date and one for the combo box text. All i have done is:

How I could go about checking a typed value in a combo to the values in the combo box. I have 22 text boxes that have to be checked to see if the value has changed. I am using the TextChanged Event handler to do this thus:
