Feb 4, 2009I just wanna ask, how to format an image or a picture inside an RTB control? Its like the way MSWORD does the formatting, (i.e Center, Behind Text, etc..).

Jan 26, 2009I have a form in vb.net 2005 with a datagrid and picturebox, when I click an item in the datagrid dgProducts I want to display the Picture which is stored in an access database in binary format inside the picturebox pbProduct. This is the code I have inside the datagrid click:

I have imported the system.io and system.data.oledb at class level and I hav generated this code from what I can find in forums online, but I get "Parameter is not valid" and no more help than that...

Oct 28, 2010I'm currently working on a project for university, basically we were given an incomplete program to finish off with bonus points for adding addition features in.Part of the program is to move an image (a monkey) around the picture box (pen). Now to move the monkey we use 4 buttons on the form called Up, Down, Left and Right, however as we need to move the monkey around to test other parts of the program it gets annoying having to click on the button. As such I was able to get some code which allows me to move the monkey around using the arrow keys (I think you can all see the benefit of this). When I use the code in a blank form it works fine, however when I add a button onto the form the arrow keys will instead highlight the buttons.basically set up a button to disable all buttons on the form until a certain key is pressed, however I would prefer not to have to do this.

VS 2010 - Image Resources - Make A Picture Box And Import An Image
Sep 17, 2010I made a picture box and imported an image named Title.jpg. Later I made adjustments to the picture and imported it again without deleting the original(mistake). The new one had the name automatically changed to Title1.jpg. So I deleted the original image from resources and renamed Title1.jpg back to Title.jpg.
Now I got two problems. First, only Title.jpg is on the solution explorer, but Title1.jpg(along with Title.jpg) still pops up on the resource list when I click on Image property of the picture box. There's only the name and no picture, and I don't see a delete option. How do I get rid of it? Second, even though I changed the image to the new Title.jpg in the picture box, the old one is displayed when running the app. What's up with that?

Sep 9, 2010I'm building a tabbed text editor and I'm trying to access the richtextbox inside the tabpage.

right now thats how I'm accessing the control inside the tabpage and it seems to work but it seems like there should be a different or easier way to do this. Anybody know of a better way to access the child controls?

inside the tabpages is RTB. How can I access the content of the Richtextbox that is selected or the tabpage that is selected.
I am having on accessing the content of the RTB when many tabs are created. Even the first tab is the one i select, the last tab is the one that i access even it is not selected. I have the code TabControl1.SelectedTab = Tab

Oct 11, 2011I created a new cursor (it works properly, I tried it in windows 7) but is not working for me in the program.I took the Windows cursor (aero_helpsel_xl, from C:WindowsCursors) and it appears to me the same error.i use with this code:

The problem say:: "{"Image format is not valid. Image file may be corrupted.

edit: I realized what the problem ... It can read only cur files with 24-bit color and lower - but it shows only two colors: black and white.
