I need to make the text value of a checkbox appear on a listbox when I check it and when make it disappear when I uncheck it. However, I need to do this with 100 checkboxes, and doing it per checkbox, I need a code that for any checkbox checked and unchecked, the text value will be listed or cleared on a listbox.
View 4 RepliesI need to make a program (or if someone wants to make it for me, feel free to do so) that has a starter form with a combobox where you can select different sizes, like 2x2, 4x4, 6x6 and so on. When i then press the button to choose size, a new form would pop up , with 4 different grids of checkboxes, (white, red, green, blue).Do i have to make each form (frm2x2, frm4x4) and make each individual checkbox, or is there some other much greater solution?Because, in the end, i don't feel like naming 576 different checkboxes for just 1 form.
After all that has been made, it would be saved to a text file, with 0 being anything thats unchecked, 1 is white, 2 is red and so on. And it would look something similar to this:

I have a table that has two input text fields and above the boxes is a check box. I have created a calculation in VB that only includes the data in the text fields when the check box is ticked. View 7 RepliesI am designing a degree audit program for school, and have a listbox where all the classes needed are contained. I have a separate form for each year (Freshman, sophomore, etc.), which also contain listboxes which are empty. The idea is to add the selected class from the first listbox into the empty listbox in the appropriate year form. However, to do this I would like to have the same listbox (the first one with all the classes) appear on each form, but still reflect changes made to it from other listboxes (classes transferred out of it).
To do this, would I need to create a listbox with global properties? Or would it be better to create a global function containing all the classes and have its contents called to the appropriate listbox?
How do i make a ListBox with the addition of each item, the item be removed after 4 seconds? Added time and number of items is unknown. Other parts of the job application should not be hampered. I know that thread should I use, but I do not know.

im trying to make a program in which if the textbox text and the listbox text are the same order, which they are in the picture, a bluie fonted text saying well done appears. However only the red text appears which is only meant to come when the order of the text in both listbox and textbox isnt the same.

a) Actual Height reduces by typically 3-5 pixels after redraw (but not 1 pixel per item).
b) PreferredHeight does not not appear to give the correct integral of item heights.
Is there a way to make ListBox calculate the correct integral Height before the ListBox is made visible, so it can be correctly pre-positioned from bottom edge?

I have an app that the user picks items from a checkbox list. I have the items selected saved to a seperate db table. Hi, I'm working on a program that reads text entered into a textbox and creates a list of items by separating entries by commas. Everything is working fine, except, because I am using an array to store the items in the list, I have a limited number of entries. This is only a problem because, as it is written currently, each comma counts as an individual entry. Therefore, users can enter ",,," for example, and it would use up 3 places in the array.
I'm looking for a way to check to make sure there is text after the comma before adding an entry. I've attempted to use the .substring command to check the character after, which works until it gets to the last character. Because there is no character after that, it will give an error.
