Nov 24, 2011Just want to ask this. I have a jQuery that move listbox item to another listbox. An its working fine the item was remove. Sample: I remove item in listbox A and it was added to listbox B. But here is now the problem, when I tried to check each item in listbox A, I noticed that all items that was removed was still there. But i can see in my eyes that it was removed. but when I tried to run a code to check each items - all item that was removed was still there.

Move An Item In A Listbox?
Nov 22, 2009I'm using a listbox control in a custom VB.Net batch program. Items added to the batch can have two "priority" settings (normal and high). I need to loop through all of the existing items in the listbox and make sure the high priority jobs are sent to the top of the list ahead of the normal priority items.
I'm using the following code to check the priority of each item in the list:
If batchWindow.SelectedItem.ToString().Contains("Normal") Then I'm attempting to loop through all of the items in the listbox, check the priority setting as shown. However, I can't get the loop to work and I haven't been able to find any examples of how one might do this.

It works fine when an item is manually selected, but I want forward and back buttons that will do this. It works once but it doesn't highlight the new item in the listbox, so it gets stuck. I am attempting to submit the user selection(s) to the database. Jan 4, 2011I have inherited from a Windows.Forms.Listbox so I could override the OnPaint and OnDrawItem methods in an effort to highlight specific items and alternate backcolors. I am also skipping some DrawItem events to prevent flickering.Everything is working fine, however when I select items in the listbox, it looks like the font is shrinking or becoming more compressed.Then when I mouse leave, the font goes back to its normal size and appearance but the same items are still selected (which is correct). During debugging the font never changes nor do any of its properties, but it does end up looking different when the item is selected and the mousedown event just happened.

The code is suppose to read through the listboxes and multiple the Cost by the Qty and then replace the Cost with the new result. The Cost listbox is populated with the cost of one item. The reason i am not doing this calculation in the sql query is because the sql query is very complicated filter out a bunch of stuff to show just the qty of the item...
