Forms :: Press Calculate, It Preforms The Correct Operation?

I need to develop a program (of course.) I need it so the user has 3 text boxes, and puts a number into each text box. Then, there be a group with 2 radio buttons.1st Radio Button: Least to Greatest 2nd Radio Button: Greatest to Least When the press calculate, it preforms the correct operation, depending on the radio button click.I just need to know how to make it so it will order from least to greatest. I then can do the rest.

I am working on a scrolling text operation within a VB.net/ASP.net application. However, I am getting an error command from the following two commands:
Me.ScrollingMarquee.InnerHtml
Return Me.ScrollingMarquee.ClientID
The error is that the InnerHtml and ClientID properties are not recognized as members of the class. Apparently I am not using the correct DIM command for "ScrollingMarquee" (e.g. "Dim ScrollingMarquee As Control" is incorrect)).

It is a cashier change return where the user enter the amount owed and the amount paid and when he/she press calculate the program should display the change due as well as the number of Dollars, Quarters, Dimes, Nickels, and pennies returned to the customer. When I run the program sometimes it gives me the right output and others it gives wrong output and it rounds the output. I just want to let you know that I have the option strict on. At my school i have to make a program and im almost done with it but everytime if i dont put any inputs on the program and press calculate it crashes. What should i write in the codes not to crash if all the inputs are empty.

Time ago, I migrated to windows 7, and to get my old code running, I was forced to run Visual studio as administrator.Now I want to recode, so Visual Studio, and the program do not need to run as administrator.The first problem I get is that Visual Studio 2008 does not save the modified files without administrator rights.
Each time I try to save a file (or even run the code, which saves the files before running), I get the error message "The operation could not be completed".
it seems that I don't have rights to overwrite those files.Also, when my code crash (because I don't have administrator rights), I cannot debug. I am asked to open another instance of visual studio, but it refuses to debug, because the code is already opened.

If I set a ListBox.Height = ListBox.PreferredHeight when the control is hidden and IntegralHeight = True, then set it visible:
a) Actual Height reduces by typically 3-5 pixels after redraw (but not 1 pixel per item).
b) PreferredHeight does not not appear to give the correct integral of item heights.
Is there a way to make ListBox calculate the correct integral Height before the ListBox is made visible, so it can be correctly pre-positioned from bottom edge?

When I click the customer service button, it mistakenly loads that form and teh hiring form with it. When I click the hiring button, it only loads the hiring button. That is teh only thing the program gets right. The employee button won't function for some odd reason. What am I doing wrong. I was trying to use if statements to open the individual forms one at a time, and in the process try to avoid error messages. My vb6 code was

I am beginner. When ever I close the form it reopens. I am closing it from the title bar (X). if we add a button and code it end or me.close(). it is working but when we try it from title bar (X) it reopens.

I have built a program in where I have to add and remove items from two listboxes. Listbox1 consists of a file which I have picked up on my C:/. Within this file, are different lines of items. At the end of the item line is a figure. I have a textbox in where when someone adds the an item from listbox1 to listbox2. On clicking the add button, it will add the total which was in the file. If I add more items, it will give me a running total of the items I have added to listbox2.
Now, I'm bamboozled in how to subtract the items from listbox2 with the remove button. So that when a user wants to remove an item that they currently placed in Listbox2. On pressing remove it will subtract the running total from the item which has been removed.. Here is my code in where I add products to the textbox. I have two other text boxes which I use to have these running totals. FYI, Textbox where value is outputted is Textbox5. Textbox6 is used to refresh the data and the other textbox is named 'Total'.

i am doing a small project for my business and i got stuck with this 2 weeks ago and still no progress.
I have an access db table "store" that has columns: (filldate,brand,model,plateno,mileage,litres) where i am storing these info each time a car in my company fills gas. For example (8/25/2011,Renault,Megane,5487844,3943,20).
What i want to do now is to display in a datagrid the total consumption of gas (litres) with the kilometers driven (mileage) between 2 dates.

I have a windows form which to summarize lets the user open a file containing 32 bit hashes, then search for one of them. The hash is then converted to its string representation. The application is giving the results I would expect but I'd like to make it execute faster than it does now; some files can be pretty big > 100 MB.
I'm doing the file read using a BackgroundWorker object to display progress updates and ensure that the UI is available during the process. But for that i need to add a System.Threading.Sleep(1) instruction in the loop; otherwise the application freezes with big files. And System.Threading.Sleep(1) creates a noticeable lag. Any suggestions on how to make searches fast without freezing the UI? Getting speeds comparable to hex editor programs for example.

I'm trying to convert code from Delphi to .Net. I'm stuck on one line:

Delphi combines the two substrings, while .Net just concatenate them like a copy.

For a while i have been playing a guessing game with this line of code.

Basically i have a shooter on the form and whenever i press the down key the shooter moves down the form and disappears off of the bottom of the form. I have been trying to get this to stop for some while.

i am using an unbound datagridview so i can dynamiclly add rows. all that is working fine. but the grid is not is the location i have coded.. i am using the defualt form as a base then coding the unbound stuff in.. should i just create a blank class file and do everything? the only problem i am having is the grid must bees in the correct location according to the pixel point that i have given it. Right now it is placing the grid at point (0,0) no matter what point is entered on the line for location. so what am i missing??????

I am trying to calculate the number of years for my calculate age event handler, however i am apparently missing a method or whatnot because im trying to calculate the age , can anyone suggest help on this. I need to subtract years to get my age but when i try the birthdate.Subtract (currentDate) method i get an error about not able to convert from LONG?

I have created a basic query generator which allows a user to select the Select, WHERE and criteria attributes using a number of checkboxes.However i have got stuck. In the results form i have the following code

The program keeps on crashing if the user does not select the corresponding amount of display records from above for the amount of attributes they want for the SELECT part of the query in the intreface in form 1.
How would i go about making something where the number of SELECT attributes selected which are listed in a string create the correct number of textbox fields in the results form (form2)
