Jan 22, 2011I know it seems like a simple enough question, but I can't figure out how to get and set the current line of text. Say line 4 is "Hello World", I want to be able to recieve that this says "Hello World" then switch it with something else if need be.

If the first line contains 4 or more numbers, it will use it. After each loop it will delete line 1. So it repeats for the next line. When my code reaches the 3rd line, and it doesnt find 4 or more numbers it needs to delete the line.

Jun 11, 2011I have 2 textbox, Quantity and Type. What I want is, when type in both, and click Save, it will save in the RichTextBox. Then click Clear, the text in both textbox will clear but no in the RichTextBox. What I want to know is, can it has column, Quantity is 1st, Type is 2nd? How do I make it to save in new line?
I've tried and got it to save in RichTextBox when the textbox is cleared but not the new line and column.

I have a set of tools that can perform the conversion on the fly via command line, but I'm not entirely sure of how to go about passing the parameters I need to the command line and running them. Can someone point me to the right direction?Would I just create a System.Diagnostics.Process and use that? If so how do I do the line by line command? For instance if I need to issue a cd command to change the directory and then execute a command after that how would I do that?

Word Wrapping - Cannot Select Last Line Of Richtextbox (when A Line Is Wrapped It Becomes Two Lines)
Jul 5, 2009The following code selects a line ina richtextbox. It works OK expect from one problem:
When a line is biger than the size of the richtextbox, it wraps it. This create a big problem as I can not select the last line of the richtextbox (when a line is wrapped it becomes two lines). When I set wordwrap to off it works just fine

Datagridview - Sort Datagrid View Column With Numbers And Texts On Column Header Click?
Feb 13, 2012It seems that on clicking datagridview column header, the column will be automatically sorted based on the column type. I have a column showing some numbers. If column type is string, it sorts "1","20","3" into "1","20","3". If column type is double, it sorts into "1","3","20" which is the result that I want. However, there might be some erros in the numbers and error messages(text) will show in the cell instead of numbers. So I cannot set the column type as double. I want to ignore these error messages and sort all the numbers. How can I do this?
Also, I need to add some background colors to different rows in datagridview. So in the column header click event, I call the bkgColor Sub to achieve this. My question is that how can I override the sorting method in this event?
